Hilary Duff Advocates for Gay Respect

I’m really impressed with Hilary Duff for taking part of an ad campaign to create awareness amongst teenagers about gay bashing. Hilary has signed on with America’s Gay Lesbian & Straight Education Network in a campaign which aims to shame teens into becoming more respectful towards gay people, according to Starpulse.

In the video clip above, two teens describe an ugly dress as “so gay” and Hilary points out:

“You know, you really shouldn’t say that something’s gay when you mean it’s bad - it’s insulting.”

Hilary states:

“Nobody says it meaning to hurt someone’s feelings but it can really make an impact on someone.”

Hilary has earned some respect in my book. Let’s hope that everyone learns that it’s not cool to be homophobic!

John McCain is Losing It

Senator John McCain addressed the crowd in Pennsylvania, calling them “My Fellow Prisoners.” Was this a Freudian slip or is this evidence that he is losing his mind?

Keep in mind if voters elect him as President, Sarah Palin will be stepping right in. You betcha!

SCARY!

Paris Hilton Gets The Advice Of Fake President Martin Sheen

Paris Hilton gets political again. This time, she is seeking the advice of fake president Martin Sheen.

She’s doing a good job reading the lines. It almost looks as if she knows what she’s talking about. Now, leaving jokes aside, hopefully, a video like this would make some young people to go out and vote!

Video Of Madonna’s Message To Sarah Palin

On Saturday, at Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” show at the Meadowlands Madonna told the audience:

“Sarah Palin can’t come to my party. Sarah Palin can’t come to my show. It’s nothing personal.”

And:

“Here’s the sound of Sarah Palin’s husband’s snowmobile when it won’t start,” followed by a loud screeching noise.

Madonna joins many celebs like Matt Damon, Pamela Anderson, Diddy, Lindsay Lohan and many more that already came out with statements against Palin. I bet as the election’s date gets closer we’ll hear from more celebrities.

Lance Bass Claims He’s the Worst Dancer

Lance Bass claims that he decided to go on Dancing with the Stars to prove he could dance because he was known as ‘N Sync’s worst dancer, according to Starpulse. He admitted:

“I was the worst dancer, I can admit it.”

Although the former boy band singer was being favored to reach the finals before the show even started, he has shown has a lot to work on. It might help him get votes if his former boy bandmates show up to support him as Joey Fatone has already done, but we’ll have to see. He said:

“Joey came the first night and I’m pretty sure the rest of the guys will pop in sooner rather than later.”

I didn’t watch the season 7 premiere of the hit reality TV show last week, but I caught more than half of it last night and I was bored out of my mind. I’m not sure I can stomach watching anymore of it this season.

SNL Spoofs Sarah Palin Interviewed by Katie Couric

Last night, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler spoofed Katie Couric’s recent interview of John McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin. Hilarious! The real interview was embarrassing enough because she just doesn’t make any sense, but last night’s skit was SO funny.

I love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler!
