Tara Reid’s family is doing everything they can to make sure she stays on track when she’s released from the Promises Treatment Center she checked into last month.

“She’s doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her,” says the source, who is close to the family.

“They are taking steps to do everything they can to help Tara keep on the right track,” adds the source.

Tara is expected to be released shortly and I’m glad to see she has family behind her because she’ll need them.

Tara Reid reportedly collapsed while out at a party over the weekend. Luckily, she wasn’t seriously injured, only suffering from some cuts and bruises and was back to work the next day after having to visit the hospital.

Apparently, her recent bikini photos that she took for a photo shoot in Bali on Monday reveal a dangerously thin look for Tara.

Let’s hope Tara starts taking better care of herself.

Tara Reid is trying to make some money out of her party girl status. She has been asking $25-$40K for a club or party appearance. Which is a good deal for her considering the fact that going to clubs is what she does in her free time anyway.

The only problem is, no one would pay her that much. So rumor is that over the weekend, she made a club appearance for the bargain price of $3500. This girl seems desperate for money. It is not like she gave them 10% discount. She basically charged them 10% of the price she wanted. Maybe she should try bringing back her failed reality show Taradise

The stars of Scrubs reportedly revealed their least favorite guest stars at the New York Comedy Festival’s panel discussion, saying:

“Tara Reid. She smelled like cigarettes and alcohol.”

Ouch. I guess they didn’t appreciate having to smell her breath. I didn’t watch when she was on Scrubs, but I wonder if anyone had to kiss her. Ew.

I thought she played by the rules though. Hmmm.

“I think the reason I never ended up in as much trouble as Paris [Hilton] or Lindsay [Lohan] is that I’m not stupid, so I’d never do a lot of the things those girls do. You’ll never read a story about me going out and partying when I’m supposed to be working, showing up on a set drunk or missing a day, never. But when I’m not working, why shouldn’t I have fun? Am I supposed to stay at home and live in a cage? I was a party girl, but I played by the rules.”

I guess it doesn’t matter if Tara Reid has had some help from Photoshop or plastic surgery or both, she is looking good again for FHM magazine. This is what she had to say about her photo shoot and other things:

On her FHM photos:

“I loved them. The photographer was great and they all seem to have come out really nice. Obviously I’ve gone through a lot and I’m older now, 31, so to still look pretty good, I was very happy with it.”

On her image in the press:

“They make everybody into little puppets, saying you’re Miss Piggy or Kermit with a funny voice, but it’s up to you to change your individuality. I had fun, but in America it’s bad to have fun and you get punished for it, whereas in Europe and other places they rejoice in having fun. But now there are girls in America like Paris [Hilton] and I start thinking, wait, what made me a bad girl? I’ve never been arrested. I wonder if some people start thinking, ‘We made this girl out to be bad just for having a good time.’ I don’t think I should ever be punished for being happy.”

On her partying past:

“Everyone does, but you’ll never read a story about me going out and partying when I’m supposed to be working, showing up on a set drunk or missing a day, never. So I regret ever even having it, but that’s what I did and I can’t take it back. I’ve learned by all my mistakes.”
