Former boxing champion and Managua Mayor Alexis Arguello was found dead at his home today, July 1, 2009. La Prensa newspaper reported that Arguello was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. However, the cause of death is yet to be determined until an autopsy is completed.

As a mayor, shouldn’t he have had some good security? Wow, that’s pretty scary!

Jimmy Fallon played Tiger Woods in a three hole showdown earlier today while thousands of New Yorkers got to watch on several huge video screens in Times Square.

“You really stink,” Fallon said to Woods right before the golfer conceded the game.

“Jimmy was far better than I thought,” Woods told PEOPLE afterwards. “I heard that he’s been playing quite a bit, so I knew he was going to be pretty good, but I didn’t think he’d be that good.”

It doesn’t surprise me that Fallon won, he does seem like the type that plays a lot of video games, where Woods doesn’t.

Cristiano Ronaldo hooked up with Paris Hilton less than two weeks ago and is already too busy for her. The hot soccer star explained:

“She was a really cool girl and we had a great time talking. I am a young man and Paris a young lady, and us talking in a club is just what normal people our age do.

She lives thousands of miles away and is busy, and I am busy in Madrid so I am not sure if we will be able to see each other. I am just making the most of the short summer I get.”

Ouch! Paris didn’t hold his attention for very long. As soon as he was done with her, he was probably already thinking about who’ll be next.

There has been a lot of buzz this week on whether Gisele Bundchen is or isn’t pregnant after she was spotted on the runway sporting what looked very much like a baby bump in Brazil.  People.com has gone ahead and confirmed that she is in fact expecting and says she’s “ecstatic.”

This will make Gisele’s first child with hubby Tom Brady who shares a son, John, with ex Bridget Moynahon. Congrats to the both of them!

One would think Cristiano Ronaldo would have better taste, but he is said to have hooked up with Paris Hilton. Hollyscoop reports:

Just hours after she ended her relationship with Doug Reinhardt, Paris hit the town with her sister Nicky Hilton in search of some fresh meat.

Luckily for Paris, her relationship ended on the right night. It was the same night Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo was in town.

Reports say they were “swapping spit” in no time at all after Paris saw him at a club. A source told X17Online:

“Cristiano and Paris were all over each other swapping spit the entire night! His table needed every waitress in the building to service the large quantities of alcohol, and he spent in excess of $20,000 on champagne and drinks.”

The odd pair were spotted leaving together at 3am heading to Nicky’s house and Cristiano was seen leaving at around 5am! Ew! Let’s hope he went home and took a long, hot shower.

Mike Tyson has reportedly married his girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in a secret wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. The retired boxing champion filed for a marriage license in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 6, 2009 and later in the evening got hitched at the La bella Wedding Chapel, according to RadarOnline.com.

Lakiha has been supportive to Tyson while he has been grieving the shocking and tragic death of his little girl Exodus, who died in a freak accident two weeks ago.

I hope Tyson gives himself time to properly grieve as I can only imagine he’s still in shock from the tragedy of losing his baby girl who was only four-years-old.

Congrats to the newlyweds.

Barry Bonds and his wife Liz Watson are reportedly splitting up. TMZ reports that Watson filed for legal separation.

The couple have been married since 1998 and have one daughter together.

In the court documents filed, Watson requests for joint legal and physical custody for their 10-year-old child as well as spousal support.

I wonder what made her call it quits. I’m sure the dirt will be in the news sooner or later…
