Paul McCartney Duets with Ringo Starr for New Album

Fans will rejoice at the news that the remaining Beatles reunite for a new album! Ringo Starr scored big time in getting his old mate Sir Paul McCartney to sing a duet with him called “Walk With You” on his new album “Y Not,” which will be released in January 2010, according to Contact Music. Ringo dished:

“Paul was doing the Grammys, so he came over to the house and I played him this track and Paul said, ‘Give me the headphones. Give me a pair of cans.’ And he went to the mic and he just invented that part where he follows on my vocal. That was all Paul MCCartney, and there could be nothing better… He’s a genius.”

The former Fab Four member also has others who contributed to the new album: his former brother-in-law Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, Ben Harper and Van Dyke Parks, who co-wrote the song Starr sings with Sir Paul.

Paul also played bass on his latest song, “Peace Dream.”

I look forward to hearing the new album!

Adam Lambert Slams Gene Simmons For Being Obnoxious

Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert has slammed Gene Simmons after Simmons criticized Lambert’s decision to publicly confirm he’s gay, according to Contact Music. Simmons had commented about Adam’s “coming out” soon after American Idol was over, saying:

“He killed his career because now the conversation is not about his talent but about his sexual preference. He’s done.”

In a new Rolling Stone interview, Adam fought back:

“He’s (Simmons) obnoxious, and what a hypocrite - all he talks about is his sex life. He was being a d**k - and he’s not the greatest singer.”

High fives for Adam because Gene was being an ass! There was nothing wrong with Adam confirming what everyone was already speculating, especially because he’s not ashamed of who his is, nor should he be.

Gabber Quote of the Day

“I’d gone out on the piss and it was late and I went into a graveyard and nicked some flowers off a freshly-dug grave.

Then I forgot to take the card off [that read 'In Loving Memory']. That went down like a pair of knickers. [Sharon said,] ‘Oh thank you for the flowers… you f*****!’”
