Late Beatle To Finally Get A Star
The randomness of who is getting a star at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame never cease to amaze me. Beatle George Harrison, who died back in 2001, got a star only as part of the Beatles. In 2008, over 7 years after his death he will be getting a star along with Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin. It is great that they all get stars, but what I don’t understand is why they waited until after the man died? Wasn’t he star worthy before his death? Nothing against Aguilera or Martin, but didn’t Harrison reach the same status (or much higher) than them when he was alive?
