Paul McCartney At The Meat Free Mondays Launch Campaign

Paul McCartney joined by his daughters Mary and Stella McCartney, Yoko Ono, Moby, Kelly Osbourne and Kate Bosworth as he launched his Meat Free Mondays campaign:

“I think many of us feel helpless in the face of environmental challenges, and it can be hard to know how to sort through the advice about what we can do to make a meaningful contribution to a cleaner, more sustainable, healthier world. Having one designated meat free day a week is actually a meaningful change that everyone can make, that goes to the heart of several important political, environmental and ethical issues all at once.”

Many chefs created vegetarian recipes for the campaign’s website. Not eating meat one day a week doesn’t sound that bad or difficult once you check out those recipes, doesn’t it?

Heather Mills Still Complaining About Divorce Settlement

Heather Mills is still complaining about the divorce settlement she received last year from Sir Paul McCartney, according to Contact Music. Apparently, the £24 million ($35 million) she was able to take from the former Beatle after only being married to him for such a short time was not enough for the greedy golddigger. Mills complained:

“I got five per cent of what we earned together in seven years. And we earned it together, I worked my butt off doing the tours and everything.”

She also added:

“Everyone thinks I’m nuts because I speak the truth and I’m very outspoken. The meat industry hate me, the dairy industry hate me, the Beatle industry hate me, the landmine industry. So I have a lot of enemies out there. But I also have a lot of support.”

What an ungrateful bitch! I’m so glad to see Paul happy with Nancy Shevell now.

Paul McCartney Admits He’s Still Sad About Losing Wife Linda McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney admits he still wakes up with a “tinge of sadness” over losing his wife of 29 years Linda McCartney. Female First reports that although the former Beatle is happily dating Nancy Shevell after a terrible split with ex-wife Heather Mills, McCartney said:

“I don’t wake up every day with a hole in my heart, but there’s a tinge of sadness. I mean, how do you cope with losing those close to you? I’ve lost both my parents, lost George [Harrison], lost John [Lennon], lost Linda. All I tend to do is remember the great stuff and that helps.”

Aw, how sad! He has lost some amazing people so I don’t blame him for still waking up a little sad and missing them.
