E! Online reports Jessica Simpson will have a cover story in the upcoming People magazine that reveals how much in love the new country star is with boyfriend Tony Romo. In the interview, Jessica talks about the sad divorcing Nick Lachey was, how weird it was dating John Mayer, and how perfect Tony Romo is. Yikes!

Jessica revealed:

“I just told him today, ‘You’re the love of my life.’ ”

I wonder if that’s enough to scare off the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Jessica even mentions that she changed her email address and phone number to avoid any contact with her exes. Wow, really? She thinks they would want to get in touch with her?

Tony, you’re a brave guy!

Vanessa Minnillo was spotted outside the MTV TRL Studios in Times Square in New York City yesterday.

It’s unclear what made Vanessa looking so surprised and a little scared, but maybe she found out that Nick is finally ready to propose.

Vanessa Minnillo is reportedly ready to get hitched to Nick Lachey, however, she does not want to be the one to do the proposing. She said:

“I know that a lot of girls nowadays are proposing to guys, but I think I’ll be old-fashioned. I’ll be old and grey before I propose.”

There’s nothing wrong with doing the proposing. They already live together so it’s not like they’re following tradition right?

Nick Lachey receives some easy cash when he’s paid to to show up to events, however, according to a spy for the New York Post Page Six, he was complaining at the JC Penny’s “American Living” launch at Skylight. The source said:

“Nick was complaining the whole time he was there. He started whining, ‘When can I get out of here?’ and refusing to take photos. That’s what he was paid to show up for.”

Nick’s rep insists that he had a good time though:

“Nick stayed and watched the entire Rascal Flatts performance at the event and had a great time.”

Sure he did. Nick and his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo should count their lucky stars for being invited to any events given that they haven’t really been known for doing anything else but showing up to events lately.

Nick Lachey has reportedly wished his ex Jessica Simpson “nothing but happiness” with boyfriend Tony Romo. He told Us Weekly:

“I wish her nothing but happiness. If she’s found that… good for her.”

When asked about what he thought about Jessica Simpson’s upcoming reality show, he said:

“I did a show a show around the making of my last record. It was kind of a documentary that I did with MTV about making a record… that is an idea that I had and I thought it was a good one, so I can certainly see where she’s coming from with that.”

However, Lachey made it clear that he would not return to doing a reality show. He said:

“Reality TV is not on my radar. “ou learn lessons in life, and then you have a responsibility to yourself to learn from those lessons.”

When asked if he would consider a reality series with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, Lachey insisted:

“No, no, no, no. Never. Never.”

Well, thank God he doesn’t want to do another reality show with Vanessa. There’s enough of that garbage on TV as it is. And of course he would wish his ex well since he’s being asked about her potential reality show. He wouldn’t dare say, “What a loser…she sucks.” even if he might be thinking it. We know at least many others are thinking it.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have reportedly become heroes to their neighbor according to the National Enquirer. They saw their elderly neighbor collapse after he stepped out of an elevator causing them to act quickly. Vanessa called emergency services and Nick grabbed the man’s keys to get his angina medication in his apartment. The two stayed with the man until paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital.

Interestingly enough, the man was one of the neighbors who didn’t want them moving in because he was worried that the paparazzi would be disturbing the peace since the couple is often followed. I’m sure he’s glad they were allowed to move in anyway. What a nice ending to the story eh? Now everyone can live happily ever after. Yay!

UPDATE: Us Weekly has reported that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are not getting married this weekend. Nick is in his hometown of Cincinnati working on his new NBC show Clash of the Choirs, as well as another show he is producing for MTV. Too bad.

Nick and Vanessa are said to be walking down the aisle in a secret ceremony at one of the Caryle Hotels in the Bahamas. A source revealed that Vanessa’s entourage “arrived at the dazzling digs Friday afternoon.”

I wonder if the lovebirds would consider doing a reality show as he did before with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson as they were in MTV’s “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.”

Jessica Simpson was reportedly shocked and said she was stung when Nick started dating right after their breakup earlier this year. In the March issue of Elle magazine she said:

“Oh, it hurt me. Two or three weeks later? Yeah, I’d say it kind of hurt me.”

Boohoo for Jessica eh? I’m sure Nick was pretty hurt too when she dumped his ass as well. All is well for her now that she’s reportedly dating the Dallas Cowboy, Tony Romo, who is probably welcome for Christmas at the Simpson home. Too bad for Pete Wentz.

Congrats to Nick and Vanessa if they’re really getting hitched. Maybe while they’re honeymooning, they’ll decide to go nude and have sex outside again.
