Mark Wahlberg was taken to the hospital on Friday after suffering from smoke inhalation on the set of his upcoming movie The Fighter.

“Mark was working on a scene [Thursday night] where a smoke  machine was being used for atmosphere and apparently he breathed in too much  smoke,” a source said.

“When he woke up Friday morning he was gasping for breath so he was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was put on a breathing device that helped clear his lungs.”

How scary! I hope he doesn’t have any long term affects from this incident.

Yesterday Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham finally walked down the aisle and said their I do’s in front of 12 of their family and friends.

The intimate ceremony took place in Beverly Hills at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, which was lit up by candles and purple roses. Wahlberg wore a simple dark suit while the bride wore a Marchesa silk chiffon strapless empire gown and Neil Lane jewelry.

Wahlberg and Durham have been dating since 2001 and have three children together Ella Rae, 5; Michael, 3; and Brendan Joseph, 10 months. Congrats to the both of them on their happy day (even though it is a sad day for me)

Mark Wahlberg is reportedly getting hitched to his longtime girlfriend/baby mama Rhea Durham on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Wahlberg and Durham have been together since 2001 and have three children together.

Last year, the hot Hollywood actor revealed he would get married, but didn’t reveal an exact date:

“I finally feel like we’re ready to take the step and we’ll have success.”

In Touch reports the couple will walk down the aisle and exchange vows at the Good Shephard Catholic Church in Beverly Hills tomorrow. A source dished:

“It’s going to be a small and intimate event, with just close family, including their kids.”

Wahlberg had thought about getting married in Boston, Massachusetts where he’s from, however, he explained to People.com:

“If we do it in Boston, I would say there’d be a lot more family members, so there’ll be some fighting.”

Mark Wahlberg has been with his girlfriend Rhea Durham for eight years and they share three children together, so with a little nudge from daughter Ella Mark has finally decided it’s time to get hitched.

“Ella is very smart,” an insider tells In Touch. “She wanted to know why Dad and Mom weren’t married.”

“It took him a while to get used to the idea of getting married,” says the insider. “But now he can’t wait for them to become man and wife.”

The two will wed in an intimate ceremony in front of about 30 guests at Beverly Hills’ Good Shepherd Catholic Church. The wedding will take place sometime in August.

Congrats to both of them, I bet she’s excited.

This is shocking! Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he plans on moving his family away from Hollywood because he’s concerned about who will be role models for his kids. He and partner Rhea Durham put their Beverly Hills house for sale in September after third child Brendan was born. They’ve hinted they’ll be moving out of the area even though they were said to have bought a $35 million mansion in L.A. Wahlberg explained his priorities:

“We won’t stay there forever but it’s very difficult to raise normal kids in an environment like that. And I was thinking there’s no real role models for girls. You’ve got Britney Spears, you’ve got Paris Hilton; they’re nice enough people but I don’t want my daughter to aspire to be like that. I’m much more concerned with being a good dad and being there for them and teaching them and hopefully helping them avoid some of the mistakes that I’ve made.”

Well let’s hope he doesn’t move to Alaska where the governor there doesn’t believe in sex education in schools. It’s tough to be parents today, even for rich celebrities.
