Mandy Moore is going back to her roots and concentrating on her music career and that means shutting the door on her clothing line Mblem.

“I love the fashion world. I’m fascinated by it. I’m humbled by it,” she said tells WWD. “If I were to dip my toe back in there, it would have to be the right situation…”

Mandy will be releasing her next album Amanda Leigh, a California ’70s-inspired pop album, on May 26. I’m excited that she’s releasing a new album, I can’t wait to hear her new music.

Mandy Moore’s rep, Kelly Bush, has confirmed the singer flew to South Carolina yesterday to be by DJ AM’s bedside at the Joseph Still Burn Center in nearby Augusta, Ga. The two briefly dated in late 2006 for 3 months.

I think her rushing to his bedside is a bit dramatic, but this could also help to raise his spirits considering he may have a long road to recovery.

Mandy Moore is available again as she and Ryan Adams have reportedly split. Apparently, they had been dating since December, but Adams told OK! magazine:

“I found the entire speculation and subsequent photographs and intrusions terrifying and only wish to live as normal a life as possible, so that I might always remain punk as f**k and sober. Unfortunately I am allergic to paparazzi and have found the best antidote to that sort of nonsense is staying behind the guitar and typewriter, staying close to my support group of friends and band mates, and not engaging in activities that prevent me from taking care of myself or others.”

He described Mandy as a “genuinely sweet, angelic” person and added:

“I am grateful for our friendship and how it allowed us both to grow and learn more.”

How sad for Mandy to be dumped because of fame. It must be tough to have a new relationship with the paparazzi following your every move.

Mandy Moore is the most wholesome young actress in Hollywood because she doesn’t party and she goes to bed by 8:30pm. She said:

“It’s important for me to surround myself with good people who are good examples. Unfortunately, there are bad people in this world. Maybe I’m completely unaware. I’ve been drunk very few times in my life, and I feel like I live in a bubble because I have never seen drugs at a party before - like someone doing a line of cocaine. Quite honestly, I don’t want to be around it, which is why I’m not a big ‘going out’ person. I’ll have dinner at like six, and I’m in bed by 8.30.”

She’s the antithesis to Paris Hilton eh? It’s kinda refreshing even though a tad bit dull. At least there’s someone in Hollywood little girls are safe to look up to right now. However, I’m sure there’s a lot of folks out there who would love to see her have her Kate Winslet fantasy come true.

It sounds like Mandy Moore has a crush on Kate Winslet and would love to lock lips with her on the big screen. She’s a longtime fan of Kate’s and would love to star in a film with her and says she would even consider a kissing scene or more.

Mandy gushes:

“I think she is just beautiful and she’s a phenomenal actress.”

I wonder if she’s had this crush on Kate since watching Titanic. I’m sure Mandy isn’t the only one that hopes they get to star in a movie together and do a love scene.

Mandy Moore and Matthew Perry have reportedly hooked up as they were spotted on a date last week at Amici Trattoria in Beverly Hills. A source for the NY Post Page Six said:

“He was already seated and waited for her for 15 minutes until she arrived. He stood up to greet her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They were holding hands across the table and being really close and laughing a lot the whole time.”

What an odd match eh? He’s a lot better than her previous boyfriend, Zach Braff though.

I hope they’re hooking up. They’re both better together than with the folks they were previously with (Jessica Simpson and Zach Braff).
