Matthew Fox plans to end his TV days when the final series of Lost is completed, according to Now magazine. Fox, who stars as Dr. Jack Shephard in the hit TV show has revealed his desire to have more time with his family. He told WENN:
“I am not going to do television again.
I have done two TV shows - Lost and Party Of Five - that have each run for 6 years. I want to find a way to have more control over when I am working and when I’m not.
I am 42 and a father of two children and I don’t want to miss them growing up. I don’t want to find myself 10 years from now feeling like I was an absentee father because I was so focused on my career.”
What a devoted husband and father! Starring in TV shows sounds like it can be grueling work. It sounds like we might be seeing him in more movies in the future…

Although the Lost star is usually very private about her personal life, she opened up to Latina.com about why she stays quiet and what she thinks about the media. She said over the phone from New Zealand where she’s filming Avatar with James Cameron:
“What the majority of [people] want to know is what I’m doing with my vagina, and I think that that’s sick. What do you care who I’m dating? I can tell when somebody just wants to know about sex. And it makes me sick.”
Michelle spoke about the mystery around whether or not she’s a lesbian:
“I think that they wonder because I’m such a tomboy. And I don’t care about what I look like most of the time. You’ll see me walking around in my jeans for the most part. I’m pretty much a tough ass.”
Michelle doesn’t think very highly of the journalists and bloggers who are trying to ‘out’ her though.
“I picture them turning into pigs, slime coming out the side of their mouth, and I picture them jerking off. I don’t answer those questions. I just keep it to myself and it’s nobody’s business. If I wanna f*ck a girl, a boy, a dog—that’s my business. That’s why there’s bathroom doors.”
She’s right for the most part, it’s no one’s business who she has sex with as long as it’s with a consenting adult (or adults). However, it’s human nature to be curious about celebrities, especially her. In most of her photos, she’s pretty hot!

Something I never knew about him is that he studied economics at Columbia University, but chose a different career path when a rich banker laughed at his business attire during an interview. Matthew said:
“I went to this interview and I’d had economics all going on in my head - which, to be honest, was largely to do with seeing Oliver Stone’s Wall Street. I borrowed a suit that was two inches too short… borrowed some penny loafers also. I was so broke. There’s four or five guys all in their mid to late 20s there. Then one guy looked around to the others and, I’ll never forget this, said, ‘Yeah, but we’re gonna have to do something about those shoes. Ha, ha, ha!.’ I looked down and they were all wearing exactly the same pair of Oxford business shoes, and I had my penny loafers with my borrowed pants that were too high. It was that moment I realised, ‘No way.’”
I’m glad the Lost actor found his way to entertaining us on TV and on the big screen. He doesn’t seem the banker type eh?

“I break the law all the time! I’ve done plenty of illegal narcotics, but I think everyone knowingly breaks the law pretty often, don’t they? I can’t imagine living my life abiding by the law completely. That’d be tough to do.”
Fox revealed that he and his wife, former model Margherita Ronchi, were “baked” for three days while on vacation in Jamaica.
“My wife and I traveled to Jamaica 15 years ago. Oh God, it was a crazy trip! We stayed in this little bungalow out on the water, baked out of our minds for the first three days. We were just so stoned! And then we got sick and proceeded to continue to get stoned because that makes you feel better.”
It sounds like he’s part of the right cast. Everyone on Lost seems to break the law eh?
Matthew is very fortunate right now as his latest movie Vantage is currently at the top of the box office charts.

Michelle Rodriguez checked into jail last night after she was ordered to check into jail before Christmas. She was ordered to go to jail for 180 days for various of crimes including DUI and hit and run.
