Leonardo DiCaprio has been able to make a profit on the sale of his house in Malibu despite the housing slump in California, according to Contact Music.

Perez Hilton reported that Leo was able to sell his house for $7.9 million even though he only bought it in 2007 at 6.35 million. The Hollywood actor actually made a profit of $1.25 million on the two bedroom home.

Wow! I hope this is a sign that the economy is picking up now.

Supermodel Bar Rafaeli is excited that she landed the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine’s Swimsuit 2009. She said:

“This is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.”

I bet boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio is feeling proud too.

Bar was there to unveil Southwest Airline’s new SI One 737 at La Guardia Airport in New York where she’s wearing a bikini and flying on the side of the plane for a month.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet both looked stunning while on the red carpet this past weekend at the London premiere of their movie Revolutionary Road. When asked what it was like kissing Kate in the movie here’s what Leonardo had to say:

‘I was entirely too used to that from doing that film (Titanic) with her, so to me it was very natural.”

And filming their sex scenes:

Di Caprio said: ‘It’s natural and I feel completely comfortable. In a twisted way it’s like kissing a family member.’

I have to say that Kate signed autographs that night for an hour before heading inside, how awesome is she?! That being said, I don’t believe for a moment that when he kisses her it feels like kissing a family member. We all know he enjoys it, who wouldn’t?

Uh-oh, it looks like Bar Rafaeli should be a little worried that her boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio is getting it on with Kate Bosworth. According to Star magazine, Leo and Kate were getting pretty close on Tuesday night in Hollyood. She was even said to have held his hand and stroked his leg! Yikes! A source dished:

“Kate was all over Leo. Her body language suggested that she wanted to be more that just friends and wasn’t worried who saw. They spent the entire night together side by side, intimately whispering in each others ears and squeezing each other tight.”

Although Leo was sitting with friends Kevin Connelly and Lukas Haas, they had 11 women at the table, including Leelee Sobieski, but it sounds like Kate didn’t care about anyone else there. The source added:

“Leo and Kate acted as if there was no one else in the club. She was making sure his focus was solely on her and the black skintight dress she was wearing certainly helped. When the club closed at 2am, Leo and Kate left with the rest of the group to keep the party going elsewhere.”

Maybe things aren’t so great between Leo and Bar and it sounds like Kate would gladly replace her. If Kate somehow snags Leo, maybe he’ll help her with her fashion sense.

Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be ready to get married and have children, so for all you young ladies out there now is your time to give him your number. It wasn’t very long ago that this hot young actor once stated how much he didn’t believe in marriage and never wanted it for himself, but now he’s singing a different tune according to People Magazine.

“I want to get married and have children,” the star of the upcoming Body of Lies and Revolutionary Road, 33, tells Parade. “In saying that, I realize I am contradicting everything I’ve said before. I absolutely believe in marriage.”

Course if ya’ll are thinking you’ve got a shot, you do have a bit of competition. Leonardo has been with model, Bar Refaeli, for the past two years and I’m guessing she’s the one that has him wanting to get married.

“What I definitely feel a need for is to make my life about more than just my career. Just last night I was thinking to myself how little of my life has been lived normally and not spent on some far-off movie location.”

Hopefully, he’ll find the love that he needs and have those children he dreams of having. Can you picture Leo a father? I can.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s beloved grandmother Helene Indenbirken passed away in a hospital in her native North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany at age 93. The Titanic star was said to be very close to Indenbirken and had even brought her along with him to film premieres and movie sets as seen in the photo above taken in December 2005.

How sad! My sympathies go out to Leo during such a sad time as I’m sure his grandmother was very special to him.
