Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be ready to get married and have children, so for all you young ladies out there now is your time to give him your number. It wasn’t very long ago that this hot young actor once stated how much he didn’t believe in marriage and never wanted it for himself, but now he’s singing a different tune according to People Magazine.

“I want to get married and have children,” the star of the upcoming Body of Lies and Revolutionary Road, 33, tells Parade. “In saying that, I realize I am contradicting everything I’ve said before. I absolutely believe in marriage.”

Course if ya’ll are thinking you’ve got a shot, you do have a bit of competition. Leonardo has been with model, Bar Refaeli, for the past two years and I’m guessing she’s the one that has him wanting to get married.

“What I definitely feel a need for is to make my life about more than just my career. Just last night I was thinking to myself how little of my life has been lived normally and not spent on some far-off movie location.”

Hopefully, he’ll find the love that he needs and have those children he dreams of having. Can you picture Leo a father? I can.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s beloved grandmother Helene Indenbirken passed away in a hospital in her native North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany at age 93. The Titanic star was said to be very close to Indenbirken and had even brought her along with him to film premieres and movie sets as seen in the photo above taken in December 2005.

How sad! My sympathies go out to Leo during such a sad time as I’m sure his grandmother was very special to him.

Reports are that Bar Rafaeli and Leonardo DiCaprio broke up when she visited him on the set of his new movie in Morocco. But don’t worry about Bar, the rumor is that she moved on and is now dating surfer Kelly Slater whom she met in Israel while he was there for a “Surfing for peace” event.

I guess there will be no wedding bells for Bar and Leo after all.

Leonardo DiCaprio is reportedly buying a Las Vegas apartment as he’s said to be signing papers for purchasing a double unit in the Panorama Towers. A future neighbor said:

“Just knowing Leo’s in the ‘hood should help get us a better resale rate.”
