Julia Roberts reportedly freaked out while filming her latest movie, Eat, Pray, Love, because a giant rat ran over her foot. The Oscar-winning actress was shooting a scene with co-star James Franco when the rat ran over her toes. A source dished to National Enquirer:

“She looked down and saw the glittering eyes of a giant rat! She leapt to her feet and, even though the rat had run away, went into a wild hysterical dance on the sidewalk. She was shrieking so loudly the crew came running.”

Her co-star Franco has to calm her down because she was so upset by the incident.

OMG! I don’t think I could’ve gone on if I were her…that’s so gross!

Julia Roberts revealed she didn’t quite enjoy the sex scenes with Clive Owen for the new film Duplicity, according to Now magazine. The reason she didn’t feel comfortable with the love scenes was because her “1-year-old son Henry was on set.” She dished:

“That’s when it comes in handy [that] you know somebody well, because you can just look at each other and say: ‘Isn’t this incredibly uncomfortable?’

And then there’ll be my son Henry, on set, just looking from the corner. It’s pretty hideous actually!”

It’s not like Henry would have been watching them shoot the scene though right? I don’t know what the big deal is. Plus, I find it hard to believe she had trouble getting intimate with Clive Owen - he’s hot!

Julia Roberts has graced the cover of the March’s Allure. In the new issue she talks about the love from her children, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney, and how she is so in awe with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Whena  asked what her dream dinner date was Julia Roberts admitted she’d like to start with the Obamas.

“For sure, we’re going to start with the Obamas. The girls can play with my kids.” Roberts says she’d cook “a big chicken tagine with figs and apricots” herself.

I’m sure a playdate could be arranged, Michelle Obama would probably love to have Julia cook a big chicken dinner for her family.

Rumor has it that Julia Roberts is so green that she tries to conserve water, even when it comes time to shower.

This is according to her security guard who no longer guards her and could be out for vengeance. Here is what he told Star Magazine:

“She likes to save water — she’s really green.”

Not only is she energy aware, she also enjoys the feeling of not being showered.

“She likes the smell of her natural oils,” the bodyguard said. “She also says that she can’t wash her hair too often because it’s dry.”

It’s great that she loves the earth so much. But is she taking going green too far?

It’s been a while since Julia Roberts actually played in a movie. She was the voice in two movies recently, but her last role on the screen was back in 2004 in “Ocean’s Twelve“.

Good to see that she’s back!
