During an interview with MTV UK Gwyneth Paltrow called the idea that Joaquin Phoenix would quit acting for hip-hop “odd” and said he needs some street cred.
“He could go live in the projects for a few years to get some authenticity, maybe.” Said Gwyneth.
Not a bad idea, he’s got nothing but time on his hands now that he’s quick showbiz.

Joaquin Phoenix continues his crazy behavior. Marie Claire reports the actor “was dragged away by security from his own gig, after diving into the audience to confront a man.” Apparently, during his performance at a Miami club, he jumped off the stage in order to confront someone in the audience who was heckling him. Joaquin shouted:
“We have a (double-expletive) in the audience.”
Security stepped in quickly and dragged him away from the audience.
Joaquin sounds like he’s going through what Britney did last year. Hope he gets help soon!

Mark Wahlberg and Joaquin Phoenix were apparently being considered for the roles of Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist in the movie, Brokeback Mountain, but were passed over because they were uncomfortable with the sex act scenes.
