Michael Jackson Funeral Tickets

Michael Jackson Will

A memorial service for Michael Jackson is set for Tuesday at the Staples Center in LA, with possibly two sessions at 10am and another at noon, and apparently tickets for these memorials are going to be up for grabs soon.

Some sites are reporting that these tickets will be sold for $25 dollars a pop, I can’t imagine the Jackson family would actually charge people to attend these services. A spokesperson for the Staples Center has said the tickets will be offered up for free, so I guess we all play the waiting game to find out whats going to happen.

We’ve waited this long for the memorial service, I guess we can wait a little longer to see how this plays out. In the mean time Empire Tickets is the place to go for these tickets when and if they even become available.

Update: 11,000 tickets will be handed out for free.

Michael Jackson Last Rehearsal Video

Michael Jackson’s last rehearsal video just two days before his death has been released. The video of Michael looking so healthy and on the verge of a major comeback. It’s hard to believe the King of Pop is really gone. It’s so sad!

Ok! Magazine Features Michael Jackson’s Dead Body On Cover

In an attempt to pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson Ok! magazine has decided to put a picture of his lifeless body with a respirator over his mouth with the words “in loving memory” next to it. The magazine apparently paid $500,000 for the picture in an attempt to cash in on the death of an icon.

This is horrible, no one wants to remember him that way! So how is this paying tribute to him? The picture is similar to the one that E! also put up on their website. I found a copy of the pic on this website, thank goodness it’s tiny!

Michael Jackson’s Will

Michael Jackson Will
There are now more details about Michael Jackson’s will. It is revealed that Jackson, who assigned his mother, Katherine Jackson, as the guardian of his children: son Prince Michael, daughter Paris Michael Katherine, and younger son Prince Michael II, also named Diana Ross as a successor guardian for his children, in case something happens to his mother.

The will also gives the entire Neverland Ranch to the Michael Jackson Family Trust. Also, Michael Jackson’s lawyer John Branca and friend John McClain are named in the will as co-executors of Jackson’s Sony-ATV Music Publishing Catalog which includes music by the Beatles, Bob Dylan and the Jonas Brothers.

This coming Friday, Michael Jackson’s body will be displayed for public viewing at the Neverland Ranch and so far, there are no details about Jackson’s funeral.

Michael Jackson’s Family Reviews His Last Will & Testament

PEOPLE.com is confirming the details of Michael Jackson’s last will and testament. Apparently Michael left all his assets to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and has named his mother Katherine as guardian of his children, Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7. His father, who was rumored to have been left out of the will, was not excluded in the document.

“There are no numbers in the will,” says a source familiar with the document. “The assets are going into the family trust.”

Attorney John Branca and John McClain, a music executive, are named as executors, and for privacy reasons no names of the beneficiaries in the will have been released.

Gabber Quote of the Day

“There will be a lot written about what came next in Michael’s life, but for me all of that is just noise.

I promise you in 50, 75, 100 years, what will be remembered is the music. It’s no accident that almost three decades later, no matter where I go in the world, in every club and karaoke bar, like clockwork, you hear ‘Billie Jean,’ ‘Beat It,’ ‘Wanna Be Starting Something,’ ‘Rock With You’ and ‘Thriller.’”

Jane Fonda Shares Mixed Emotions About Michael Jackson Death

Jane Fonda wrote about her mixed emotions about her friend Michael Jackson’s death on her blog:

Like so many people, I have been in a wash of images and feelings about Michael Jackson. I knew him as well as one could know him during the time before he did “The Wiz” and up through “Thriller.” I couldn’t pretend to understand him. There were so many complicated signals. Did he want me to be his ‘older women’ friend. He gravitated to older women. For solace? Succor? A beard? Did he want me to teach him the ropes? I never could quite figure it out. But I remember one day he was visiting me at my ranch north of Santa Barbara. It was the first time he had been in that region but he must have liked it because later he bought his ranch in that same area. Anyway, as we walked around the ranch which was perched right at the edge of the mountain overlooking Goleta, I pointed to a spot where I told him I wanted to be buried. Michael had a melt down right then and there when he heard this. He shrieked and bent over and said “no, no, no!” “ What’s the matter,” I asked. “Don’t ever talk about your dying,” he answered. “Don’t ever think about it.”

I think about death all the time. I rehearse my death. I think that’s a healthy thing to do. Death, after all, is what gives life meaning the way noise gives meaning to silence. Ooooh, I thought to myself, Michael will have a hard time of it as he ages. He will spend all his energy trying to flee what is inevitable. And now it’s happened. I like the fact that it was quick. Massive heart attacks that you don’t recover from are quick. You don’t know what hit you. That’s probably the kindest death for Michael. It’s hard to imagine him being happy as he aged. One more demon to try and evade. I like to think he’s happy now, free of his demons. Free and floating and knowing how his art continues to be revered and celebrated by all of us all over the world. It will continue.

Jane Fonda often says or does controversial things, but I think her comments about the King of Pop are honest and heartfelt. I also hope Michael Jackson is “free of his demons” now and is happy that he’ll be remembered forever.
