Jermaine Jackson must be embarrassed because the Michael Jackson tribute concert that was planned for Vienna, Austria on September 26, 2009 has been canceled due to not enough stars joining the lineup.

The show is being scheduled for next year and moved to London after the concert’s organizers failed to line up enough big named stars. but has now been put back to next year (10) and moved to London after organisers failed to secure enough acts in time.

The concert’s producer George Kindel says:

“Maybe we underestimated these (scheduling) issues. It was very difficult to put up the show, which normally needs six months.

Due to this fact, we decided to reschedule the event for the first half of June 2010, but not in Vienna, in London.”

This has to be embarrassing for Jermaine and the rest of the Jackson family. Nothing shouldn’t have been announced until they knew that they had secured a great lineup.

Chris Brown is going to be making his musical comeback by leading the upcoming Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna, Austria.

The shamed singer was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to serve six months hard labor after he plead guilty to a vicious assault on Rihanna. However, it has been announced by Jermaine Jackson that Brown will headline the Jackson tribut concert on September 26, 2009. Jermaine said:

“Michael was his idol and he (Brown) dedicated his first number one hit in the U.S. to Michael. Chris is a very, very talented artist.”

Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole and Sister Sledge, as well as US5 have also been included on the list of performers. The rest of the line up will be unveiled in a series of press conferences over the course of this week.

Family spokesperson Jermaine announced that the tribute concert will take place in front of 65,000 fans at Vienna’s former imperial Schoenbrunn Palace. Jermaine added:

“We have many, many surprises. This is growing more and more, and we have more names to announce. We want this to be a dignified performance for Michael - he attracted people from around the globe so we need to have a diverse mix of talent.”

Wow, with all of the bad press that Chris Brown has had over the last few months, I’m surprised the Jackson family would choose him to headline. I’m sure that it’ll end up being a great tribute to Michael though.

Last week Janet Jackson took to her Twitter page to write a sweet little message about how she’s missing her late brother, Michael Jackson, just before he was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Glendale Calif. Here’s what she tweeted:

“I love you, Mike, and I miss you,” signed with ”dunk” which is the nickname Michael had given her.

Now she’s set to pay tribute to Michael’s long and celebrated career when she opens the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards on Sunday. The show will air live at 9pm and may actually be interesting enough to watch this year.

The first documents from Michael Jackson’s toxicology report have been unsealed which found lethal levels of anaesthetic propofol in his body at the time of his death. The Los Angeles County Coroners office has released the news to reveal his death has been ruled a homicide which means there will likely be some criminal charges against Michael Jackson’s doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray.

According to the L.A. Times, the affidavit was unsealed on Monday, August 24, 2009 in Houston, Texas, where a storage facility belonging to Murray was raided by police last month. The documents reveal that Murray told LAPD detectives he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for six weeks before the King of Pop’s death, and he had been administering 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous line.

Murray claimed that he was trying to wean the pop star off the drug and had lowered the dosage to 25 milligrams and mixed it with other sedatives. He said that on June 23, 2009, two days before the singer died, he gave him two replacement medications and withheld the propofol.

However, in the newly-unsealed affidavit, Murray admitted to giving Jackson valium at 1.30am on the morning of his death and when that didn’t work to relax him, he injected lorazepam intravenously at 2am and administered midazolam an hour later. The legendary star died later that morning after suffering a cardiac arrest.

What an incompetent doctor and human being! Michael Jackson wasn’t in a hospital and if he needed that many drugs to relax or fall asleep, he should’ve been in rehab! I hope this so-called doctor never gets the opportunity to see another patient. It sounds like LaToya Jackson was right!

Joe Jackson has confirmed his late son’s body has still not been buried, but wouldn’t go in to detail as to where the body will finally be laid to rest.

“I think Vegas would be great,” says Joe. And while he doesn’t think the family would visit such a shrine to his son, Joe does believe “the fans would come.”

Some have speculated that Michael’s body has made it’s way to Berry Gordy’s crypt, while others have published he’s already been buried in  Forest Lawn Memorial Park. I understand the family wants to get to the bottom of what caused his death, but I find it a little disturbing the body hasn’t been laid to rest.

One of Michael Jackson’s dearest friends has confessed he donated sperm to him and he might be Paris Jackson’s biological father. Mark Lester, former child star, thinks Paris looks exactly like his 15-year-old daughter Harriet and is willing to take paternity test.

“It’s been a secret for so long,” said Mark. “In 1996 Michael asked me if I would give him my sperm and I said yes. It was a gift to him, no money was paid, it was something I was honoured to do. He wanted children so badly.”

Lester goes on to say Michael couldn’t perform sexually with a woman and was desperate to have children:

“Michael found it very difficult to have relationships with women,” said Mark. “He found the sexual act something he couldn’t do. When he was about 16 or 17 he had a very famous female child star who basically jumped on him, naked in his hotel room, and tried to seduce him.”

“He became very scared, and found it so disturbing he couldn’t perform. Michael wasn’t gay. But I’d say he was asexual.’

A judge granted Katherine Jackson custody of her late son Michael Jackson’s three children, with a family allowance to be paid out of Michael’s estate. Last week Katherine and Debbie Rowe, Prince Michael and Paris’ biological mother, reached an agreement on custody with visitation rights for Rowe based on a schedule worked out with a child psychologist and continued spousal support.

“Today the parties and the California court brought about a result that is selfless and wise through a process that was collaborative and fair,” Rowe’s attorney, Eric George, said outside of court. “Everyone sought the same objective: Doing what is best for the children of Debbie Rowe and Michael Jackson. Today’s result – five-and-a-weeks after the tragic death of Michael Jackson, eliminates uncertainty and offers stability to the lives of these children.”

I’m glad to see the custody issue is over and done with, I bet this is a huge relief on Katherine.
