Hugh Grant is supporting his dad’s art career by helping to launch his new art exhibition, according to Contact Music. Even though his 81-year-old father, James Grant, considers himself an amateur, Hugh Grant is helping to launch his exhibition at the Keszler Gallery in Southampton, New York. Grant told the New York Daily News:

“I’m so proud of my dad. My dad, who lives in London and is originally from Scotland, follows the tradition of Scottish colorists. And I really love his colors in these nature scenes.”

Aw, isn’t that nice to help his dad get his work known like this? This news almost makes Hugh Grant lovable again.

Hugh Grant reportedly offended others eating at the same restaurant he was at the other evening when he and his date were tonguing each other while his pal stroked her thigh. Very classy eh?

To think that Hugh couldn’t get more disgusting after getting busted with a prostitute years ago is obviously a mistake. The actor who is growing into a DOM (dirty old man) was making out with his mystery lady in full view of the grossed out diners at Roka restaurant.

Why would they be so disgusted by that though? Doesn’t everyone like to watch other people making out and getting groped while they eat their dinner? A source said:

“They sat on the sofa next to us with the girl in the middle. Soon, Hugh started snogging her full-on. Meanwhile the other guy was touching the girl’s thigh. It was like Hugh accepted it.”

The source added:

Elizabeth Hurley wed Arun Nayar today at Sudeley Castle in England. Their interesting gift registry requested for: chickens, cows, and other livestock with a Gloucester Old Spot Pig on the top of the list. Apparently, she wants to pursue her passion for organic farming while on a sabbatical from her “acting career”. I wonder if their first dance was to “Old McDonald”. I can bet they all did the “chicken dance” at the reception with Grant as the emcee of part of the wedding reception…cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck - cluck, cluck, cluck.

UPDATE: It’s unclear as to whether or not Hugh Grant was actually present at the wedding. Us magazine claims Grant was a no show. A source told Us:

“Liz called him the day before begging him to come, but he insisted it would not feel right. He didn’t want to detract any attention from her big day.”

In Amsterdam, a Dutch reporter has been said to have handcuffed herself to Hugh Grant during last Friday’s premiere of Music & Lyrics which is co-starring Drew Barrymore. Reports suggest the imprisonment lasted for about 10 minutes.
