It’s no surprise that Courtney Love is malnourished. The troubled rocker believes her recent diagnosis of malnutrition is due to her stress over the fraud case, according to FemaleFirst.

Courtney Love admitted to Grazia magazine that her weight is a problem:
“I know I’ve got too skinny. I know those pictures of me are going everywhere. I know I need to sort it out. I thought I was like 130 pounds (59.1 kilograms), but I’m 118 pounds (53.6 kilograms) and I’m five feet 10 inches, that’s not good for someone my height. I need to start working out again.”

Love explained:

“It’s the stress - you have no idea what it has been like these last few months.

I’ve had to escape Los Angeles, I can’t cope there anymore.”

However, she’s trying to get healthier:

“I’m drinking high-calorie shake and almond milk, whey protein and coconut and I just ate a whole croissant.”

Poor Courtney! It sounds like American Express is still going after the $350,000. Let’s hope she gets healthier soon and gets her case resolved because I can’t bare to see her looking like that.

Don Imus has revealed he’s battling prostate cancer. The controversial radio DJ had made headlines in 2007 when he used a derogatory phrase to describe some female basketball players.

On Monday, March 16, 2009, Imus announced that he was diagnosed with stage two prostate cancer on his radio show, but stated that “his doctors will beat it.”

Early detection for prostate cancer usually has good results so I do hope his doctors will help him beat it. Best wishes to Don Imus!

Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross’ husband Tom Mahoney has been diagnosed with cancer. Cross and her partner confirmed the news, but would not reveal any details about her husband’s condition. Cross’ rep Heidi Slan told People:

“He is currently under treatment and is responding very well.”

Oh that’s sad to hear. Hope they found it very early and he makes a full recovery. Too many people in the world are suffering from cancer.

Patrick Swayze’s rep has confirmed that the star who is battling pancreatic cancer has been released from the hospital after being admitted for pneumonia.

“I am happy to announce that Patrick Swayze is home after a brief hospitalization for pneumonia,” his rep Annett Wolf tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“I admire everything imaginable [about Patrick],” she told PEOPLE recently, “especially his courage, strength and humor.”

I admire Patrick for his courage as well, he’s not about to give up on his battle with cancer and I know it isn’t easy for him.

Victoria’s Secret Angels: Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima walked the runaway at the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at the Fontainebleau Hotel looking pretty hot.

However, I wonder if the company is doing anything about the claims that the bras cause blisters, rashes, and scarring for which some women are suing Victoria’s Secret for, according to Yahoo News. The lawsuit claims that the bras:

specifically the Angels Secret Embrace and Very Sexy Extreme Me Push-Up styles—for lab tests and found that each of the undergarments contained formaldehyde (yes, the chemical compound—and probable carcinogen—found in embalming fluid).

Yikes! So even though the models look pretty sexy in those bras, women should be informed about some possible health risks.

Christina Applegate has reportedly revealed she had a double masectomy three weeks ago on ABC News Good Morning America. She will undergo reconstructive surgery over the next eight months. The brave Hollywood actress joked in the interview:

“I’m going to have cute boobs ’til I’m 90, so there’s that. I’ll have the best boobs in the nursing home. I’ll be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table.”

Although the cancer was only in one breast, she decided to remove both breasts and is cancer free. The Samantha Who star called the operation a logical decision because her mother battle breast cancer. She explained:

“I just wanted to kind of be rid of it. So this was the choice I made and it was a tough one. Sometimes, you know, I cry and sometimes I scream and I get really angry and I get really like, you know, into wallowing in self-pity sometimes. And I think that’s — it’s all part of healing, and anyone who’s going through it out there, it’s OK to cry. It’s OK to fall on the ground and just scream if you want to.”

Applegate has a positive outlook towards life:

“I’ve laughed so much in the last three weeks. love living, and I really love my life, and I knew that from this moment on it was only going to be good that was going to be coming. Yeah, I’ll face challenges, but you can’t get any darker than where I’ve been. So knowing that in my soul gave me the strength to just say, `I have to get out there and make this a positive.’”

Luckily, Christina’s cancer was detected early through a doctor-ordered MRI. Now she’s determined to help women at high risk for breast cancer meet the costs of an MRI which is not always covered by insurance by starting up a program.

Wow, she’s truly an inspiration. To think about the many young at-risk women who can’t afford the costs of an MRI because its not covered by insurance is heartbreaking. Christina, you go girl!

Pictured above on February 25th, Star Magazine claims that Katie Holmes has lost 20 lbs. The report states that the weight loss is shocking many people, estimating her weight at about 125 pounds with a 5′9 frame due to a 1000-calorie per day diet of high protein and low fat. I don’t think she looks too thin here and perhaps this story was leaked to steer people away from the rumors of a sibling for little Suri. Well one thing is certain: this is not a very flattering photo of Mrs. Cruise.
