Hayden Panettiere has opened up about her dad’s domestic violence arrest last September.

“I don’t know that I dealt with it any specific way,” the Heroes star tells the July issue of Seventeen magazine. “I mean, it’s hard enough going through it personally within your family, let alone when the entire world knows about it.”

“It put my dad in this light that is so not him. You know your mind goes to: ‘He abuses, he beats his wife.’ For my dad to have that reputation now — which is so not who he is — kills me.”

Her father was arrested last year after he allegedly hit Hayden’s mother leaving a visible bruise on her cheek, later calling the incident a “big misunderstanding.” Police have said alcohol was a factor. I wonder how many times he got away with beating his wife before his daughter became famous.

We all know Hayden Panettiere isn’t afraid to show us a little skin after these photos of her in a tiny bikini surfaced not too long ago, but now she’s saying she got totally naked in her upcoming film I Love You, Beth Cooper.

“I was really naked,” the 18-year-old starlet tells me. “I had these little sticky petals on my boobs, but that was about it. My dad calls me such an exhibitionist. He always says, ‘God, even when you were little, you were such an exhibitionist!’ ”

“I’m cool with my body, and I’m cool running around undressed and all that stuff, but there are just certain things that not everyone needs to know, that you need to keep somehow private and personal to you,” she said. “But you never know, you never know. I could be 30 years old and just be like, ‘Screw it—I want to take it all off. I better take a picture of this baby before it all goes.’ “

Wow, does that mean she’s willing to do Playboy? They better get a hold of her before she changes her mind!

Hayden Panettiere could be staring in the Footloose remake alongside Chace Crawford. Sources are telling E!Online she recently sang for filmmakers.

“They were really impressed,” the insider gushes. “No one realized what a good singer she is.”

All though it still hasn’t been confirmed that Chace will actually be in the Footloose remake, it’s pretty much a done deal and if Hayden makes it to the next round she’ll likely have a dance audition then a screen test with Chace.

I think they would be cute on the big screen together!

According to Ok! Hayden Panettiere is playing dirty on the set of Heroes and is trying to get her ex Milo Ventimiglia kicked off the set.

“She refuses to be on the set at the same time as him,” the pal tells OK!. “She is making it difficult for everyone involved.”

As for Milo, “He’s not going to play any games or stoop to her level,” says the friend.

Her rep is denying denies this, but she has been known to behave like a diva.

While on the red carpet at a fundraiser gala in Hawaii Hayden Panettiere showed everyone her diva side.

“Back up!” the “Heroes” star yelled at photographers when she hit the red carpet at a fundraiser gala, US Weekly reports.

“May we talk with you Hayden?” one asked, while touching the starlet’s shoulder.

“Don’t you ever touch me!” Panettiere replied, before turning to a press handler and asking frostily, “Oh, am I supposed to do interviews?”

Finally she yelled “you all make my life miserable!” to the waiting media and refused to answer any questions.

Oh really, doesn’t she realize this comes with being a starlet in Hollywood? This is not the first time Hayden blew up at the media while on the red carpet, she threatened to kill an US Weekly reporter last July.

I’m sure Hayden Panettiere was not happy after being booted from NV nightclub and having her ID confiscated by security. Hayden entered the NY club through an employee entrance with six of her friends and was in the club for a few short minutes before security spotted and carded her.

“At that time we asked her and her friends to leave,” NV Lounge owner John Reznick tells E! News, adding that the actress cooperated by giving her license to an employee.

As if that wasn’t enough Hayden learned that the club’s policy is to keep confiscated IDs and hand them over to the Suffern Police Department. So Hayden then had to called the cops on herself, they of course came to her rescue and returned her license.

What, did no one recognize who she was?
