Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly annoyed by Scarlett Johansson. The actresses are starring in the next Iron Man 2 and Gwyneth is said to be quite frustrated with ScarJo. A source dished to The Sun:

“Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett.

They come from different worlds and have completely different styles.

Gwyneth was looking forward to working with Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being Scarlett.

Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at the half way point. In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding of the attention of the crew. It’s not a happy set.”

It sounds like Gwyneth is a little jealous - ScarJo is probably liked more on the set. Ouch!

The movie is set to be out May 2010.

Gwyneth Paltrow had to call for pest control because of a rat infestation at her L.A. home, according to Contact Music.

The Hollywood star and hubby Chris Martin of Coldplay are renting an apartment near her mother Blythe Danner as she’s working on Iron Man 2. However, the apartment was infested by rodents, according to the Daily Mirror. How gross!

Paltrow’s friend dished:

“Gwyneth wanted everything to be perfect. She was so excited about moving to L.A. with the family and to be closer to her actress mum. It will be the first time in ages that she, Chris and the children will be living together as a family.

But her stomach turned at the thought of rats running around. She didn’t want her homecoming ruined by those horrible creatures. Being an animal lover, Gwyneth didn’t want the vermin harmed, just removed.”

So even the rich folk have to deal with pests. Since she is just renting the place, why not just find somewhere else to live? Property in California is a lot cheaper these days and Gwyneth and hubby have the means!

On her website Goop.com Gwyneth Paltrow went on a rant about how environmental toxins are causing the number of children with cancer and autism to grow ‘exponentially’. Here’s what she said on the “research” she did on environmental toxins:

“Foetuses, infants and toddlers are basically unable to metabolize toxins the way that adults are, and we are constantly filling our environments with chemicals that may or may not be safe.”

“The research is troubling; the incidence of diseases in children such as asthma, cancer and autism have shot up exponentially and many children we all know and love have been diagnosed with developmental issues like ADHD.”

The problem with these statements, the experts are saying she’s wrong:

Cancer Research UK said “there was no evidence to support Miss Paltrow’s claim that childhood cancer rates had increased ‘exponentially’.”

Its director of cancer information, Dr Lesley Walker, said: ‘There has been very little change in the number of childhood cancers detected during the past ten years.’

Professor Pennington, emeritus professor of bacteriology at Aberdeen University, said: “There has been an obsession about carcinogenic chemicals for years and we have been successful in getting rid of most of them.” He also stated “It does annoy me when celebrities use their position to spout nonsense. They have a perfect right to their views, even if they are loopy.”

So who do you believe the experts who are doctors and professors or Gwyneth who did her own “research?”

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted out with the kiddies, her daughter Apple and son Moses in Santa Monica wearing a sheer top and ripped jeans. Thankfully, she’s wearing a bra with that top!

During an interview with MTV UK Gwyneth Paltrow called the idea that Joaquin Phoenix would quit acting for hip-hop “odd” and said he needs some street cred.

“He could go live in the projects for a few years to get some authenticity, maybe.” Said Gwyneth.

Not a bad idea, he’s got nothing but time on his hands now that he’s quick showbiz.

Gwyneth Paltrow defended her website Goop.com which gives out advice on things like diet and exercise, according to Starpulse. She was criticized by a Canadian newspaper:

“Why is it called Goop? Perhaps ‘Any Old Load of Rubbish’ and ‘Learn From Me, Ungrateful Peasant’ were both taken.”

Paltrow hit back:

“I think the people who are criticizing it (the website) or criticizing the idea of it, don’t really get it, because if they did, they would like it.

There’s nothing incendiary about it. I find it really interesting because it’s a harmless (news)letter that goes out each week. (I give advice) because I felt like I had a lot of really useful information that I was privileged enough to get, because I have this amazing, super, fortunate life.

My friends call me all the time to say, ‘Where should I go?’ or ‘What should I do?’ And I thought, you know, maybe some other people would be interested in it as well, so I started it, and it’s doing great.

I think that people like people to stay in their ‘box’ - they like people to stay how they are comfortable seeing them.”

Maybe it’s criticized because Gwyneth seems to be such a know-it-all and puts herself on a pedestal, giving out advice all the time. It’s funny how Gwyneth is baffled as to why anyone wouldn’t like her.

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted wearing a Kabbalah bracelet while out in NYC. It looks like Madonna is quite an influence on her friend.

Apparently since Guy Ritchie and Madonna have split up, the two BFFs have been spending quite a bit more time together which is causing rumors that things might not be going so well with Gwyneth’s marriage to Chris Martin, Coldplay’s frontman.

Uh-oh, this could be trouble…
