Stephanie Seymour is getting one hefty allowance of $270,000 a month from Peter Brant until their divorce is finalized, according to Page Six. Is that all? How on earth will she get by on that?
Apparently, a judge in Connecticut ordered Mr. Money Bags, who earns approximately $1.55 million per month to pay up. Wow! Hope the three kiddies are benefiting from some of that cash!

The drama continues between Miss California USA Pageant and Miss Family Values aka Carrie Prejean. After being hit with a counter lawsuit by pageant officials for not paying back money used for a boob job, Carrie’s lawyer released a statement to RadarOnline.com:
“This is just the latest installment in K2 Production’s ongoing smear campaign against Carrie Prejean. They have proven, once again, that they will use whatever scurrilous accusations they can dredge up – or invent – to try and tarnish Carrie’s reputation and her good name. It is both appalling and pathetic to see K2 and their friends in Hollywood try to destroy this young woman simply for standing up for her beliefs.”
This is getting as bad as Jon and Kate Gosselin’s split now! Perhaps they should take this fight to a reality show!

Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to appear in court on Friday for a hearing, which is being kept hush hush. TMZ.com is reporting that it has something to do with whether or not she’s fulfilling the terms of her probation, she’s suppose to have been attending alcohol education classes.
Reports also reveal a court order was issued during a routine progress check earlier in the week. Lohan’s probation stems from her DUI back in 2007. I hope she’s headed to jail, and for more than 8 minutes this time around. It might actually do her some good.
For now we’ll have to wait and see.

A judge has ordered Jon Gosselin pay back $180,000 of the $235,000 he emptied out of a joint bank account he shared with estranged wife Kate Gosselin. According to Kate’s lawyer he has a short time frame to repay the money.
“Mr. Gosselin must repay this sum on or before Oct. 26,” Kate’s attorney, Mark Momjian, said in a statement to E! News. “If he fails to do so, he must appear before the court for contempt proceedings.
Kate’s also happy with the court’s decision:
“As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children,” Kate said in a statement. “Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues.”
I can’t believe he emptied the account in the first place, what was he thinking?

Guns N’ Roses is being sued for plagiarism by execs at two indie record labels, according to Contact Music. The lawsuit against Guns N’ Roses and Universal Music Group claims that one of the songs from Chinese Democracy “Riad N’ The Bedouins” actually features tracks from a German electronic music artist Ulrich Schnauss, without permission.
RollingStone.com reports that the two songs by Schnauss were released in 2001 and 2003.
The indie labels are suing for $1 million in damages. If the rockers sampled Schnauss’ music, I hope he gets compensated big time!
It’s kind of ironic that Axl Rose and the band are being sued for ripping off someone else’s music when they had Kevin Cogill arrested last year for leaking their songs online.

The drama continues between the reality mom and dad to eight kiddies: Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin. Jon Gosselin allegedly “cleared out” the bank account he shares with Kate Gosselin, leaving Kate with only $1000, according to Radar Online via Hollyscoop. Kate will go to court to take action against Jon on Monday.
It isn’t too surprising that there’s an issue with money since Jon was dropped from the hit reality TV show Jon and Kate Plus 8 which leaves him without a paycheck. It’s one thing to stop production of the TV show because he can use the excuse he’s thinking about the best interests of his children now, but clearing out a bank account that he shares with his estranged wife is a bit low, even for him. I hope he didn’t do it because that’s just plain nasty.

After being abducted seven years ago from her own bedroom, Elizabeth Smart testified about her horrifying ordeal. She revealed how she was tied to a tree, raped repeatedly, and drugged.
“He placed his hand on my chest,” she recalled of the night Mitchell allegedly entered her bedroom and took her away, “and then put the knife up to my neck. He told me to get up quietly and if I didn’t then he would kill me and my family.”
She continued: “He was whispering, but it was still loud enough it could wake someone. He was dressed in sweats, sweatshirt, stocking cap, tennis shoes.”
“She eventually just proceeded to wash my feet and told me to change out of my pajamas into a robe type of garment,” Smart recalled. “And when I refused, she said if I didn’t, she would have Brian Mitchell come rip my pajamas off. I put the robe on . . . he came and performed a ceremony, which was to marry me to him. After that, he proceeded to rape me.”
“Of your nine months with him, what was his dominant focus?” asked U.S. Attorney Tolman.
“Sex,” replied Smart.
“Did he speak to you about religion?” asked Tolman her.
“He used religion to get what he wanted,” said Smart.
Luckily her abductor, Brian David Mitchell, was put in a holding cell during her testimony and she didn’t have to face him while she told the court what she went through. Apparently he entered the court room singing Mormon hymn and refused to stop.
Mitchell has twice been found incompetent to stand trial, let’s hope this time around they nail him. He deserves the maximum amount of time he can possibly get in jail.
