Evan Chandler, the father of the boy, Jordy, who accused Michael Jackson of molestation has reportedly committed suicide.

Chandler was found in bed holding a gun with a shot wound to the head at his waterfront Jersey City apartment in New Jersey on November 5, 2009. The former Beverly Hills dentist was 65.

After the sexual abuse allegations brought the King of Pop so much shame, the stress seemed to take its toll on the singer. It seems that Michael Jackson’s death took its toll on Evan Chandler in the end.

Ken Ober, who hosted MTV’s game show Remote Control in the 80’s, was found dead in his home over the weekend.

“His body was discovered in his home on Sunday,” Mark Measures, Ober’s talent agent, said. “The last person to have spoken to him was on Saturday morning. No foul play is suspected, no suicide, it looks like natural causes, just no one knows the exact cause yet.”

I loved watching Romote Control, that was when MTV was worth watching. Ober will be missed, our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

DJ AM’s mom, Andrea Gross, has decided to pick up where her son left off on a $20 million lawsuit filed against the airline company responsible for the crash that nearly killed him. She’s also added a wrongful death claim to the lawsuit saying the crash led to her son’s overdose.

“The crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein’s death at a later date,” the document reads.

A trial has been set for March 2 on the matter, where Gross will cite the 2008 crash left her son in so much pain he turned to drugs ultimately resulting in his overdose. The airline company, Learjet, is still claiming they are not responsible for the crash.

I don’t blame her for wanting justice for her son’s death.

Patrick Swayze’s wife, Lisa Niemi, opened up for the first time since his death at the Women’s Conference 2009 on Tuesday. The discussion took place in Long Beach with an audience of about 14,000 people and was moderated by Maria Shriver.

As sad as it was for her to talk about Patrick, it probably helps to open up about it as well.

Bruce Springsteen canceled his scheduled performance in Kansas City after his cousin was found dead in his hotel room on Monday.

“Lenny Sullivan, Bruce’s cousin and the assistant road manager of the E Street Band for the last ten years, passed away today at the age of 36,” a rep for the musician tells UsMagazine.com. “A warm and sensitive person, he was beloved by Bruce, the Band, the crew, and the entire Thrill Hill family.”

Sullivan was found dead in the Intercontinental Hotel in Kansas City just hours before Bruce and the E Street Band were to take the stage. His death, which does not appear to be suspicious, is still under investigation.

Billy Mays son has given the go ahead to dress as his late father for Halloween. He’s even hosting a contest on his website, Where’s Billy Mays?, asking people to send in photos of themselves dressed like the infomercial king and he’ll give three winners various Billy Mays prizes.

“All I’m trying to do is spread some positivity out there in the world,” he writes. “Couldn’t hurt, could it?”

No I don’t think it could hurt, in fact I think it’s great he’s staying positive about the whole costume thing. I know there will also be a lot of Michael Jackson costumes out there this Halloween, it’s their fans way of showing their appreciation.

The Twitter universe erupted yet again with rumors of a celebrity dieing, this time Kanye West. Kanye was in fact involved in a car accident, back in 2002. He’s very much alive and doing fine.

Maybe people are just tweeting how they really feel, since the whole Taylor Swift incident at the MTV VMA’s he’s been a little unpopular.
