Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin Will Host The Oscars

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be following in Hugh Jackman’s footsteps and will be hosting the 82nd Academy Awards.

“I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin,” says Steve Martin.

“I don’t play the banjo but I’m thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it’s the opportunity of a lifetime,” says Baldwin.

This should be interesting, both men have hosted SNL a few times and are pretty funny. The show will air Sunday, March 7, on ABC.

Chelsea Handler’s Huge Playboy Cover

While Chelsea Handler was on The Jay Leno Show she joked about how her father was going to love her in December’s Playboy issue saying “because he thinks I’m very sexual.”

Then Jay surprised her with a huge version of her Playboy cover and encouraged her to strike a pose just like the one she did for the magazine. Of course she was quick on her feet replying “we need the guy that airbrushed me back.”

That’s why I love her, she’s always quick with a comeback and is always hilarious. Plus she’s got a sexy side, check out that Playboy cover!

David Cross Brags About Snorting Cocaine in Front of President Obama

Comedian David Cross bragged about snorting cocaine in front of President Barack Obama, according to Starpulse.

During a stand-up gig, the Arrested Development star said he did cocaine on a dare while with his girlfriend Amber Tamblyn at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Cross bragged:

“I got to go because my girlfriend is a fancy Hollywood actress and she got an invitation, so we went. I’ve got photo evidence of all this… I’m there and the president is right here, and (I took the drug) with all these people at the table. Maybe 40 feet from the President of the United States.”

What a dumbass! Who does these things on a dare - is he still in junior high school?

Jay Leno Show May Be Dumped Soon

It sounds like the Jay Leno Show may be getting the boot from NBC soon. According to Contact Music,

In what appeared to be a direct acknowledgment that NBC’s Jay Leno strategy has not succeeded, NBC Universal Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin said Thursday that “while we think we need to produce economically, the goal is not to manage for margins. … It is to put the best possible programs we can on the air.”

What a mistake it was for Jay Leno to do another very similar talk show right after leaving the Tonight Show, because his new show sucks. NBC has been doing so bad with ratings so I’m sure the show will get the ax soon. It’s a good thing that Leno will probably do just fine if he never works again.

Rosie O’Donnell Confirms Relationship Trouble with Kelli

Rosie O’Donnell confirmed that her relationship with Kelli Carpenter is going through some trouble, according to Star magazine. Rosie told USA Today:

“We’re a family, we remain a family and we’re working on the issues. Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties.”

Rosie and Kelli have four children together: Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12, Blake, 9 and Vivienne, 6.

Rosie added:

“But everything’s fine and everybody’s good and we’re still both raising them together. We will both continue to parent them and we’re friendly and everything’s all right.”

Oh how sad! I hope they find a way to work things out. They seemed great together and seemed to have such a happy family. I wish them well.
