Hollywood actors Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds got hitched in a small, private ceremony in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
According to People.com, they exchanged vows on Saturday, September 27, 2008 after being engaged for four months.

On Sunday, George Takei and his longtime partner, Brad Altman, got hitched in a Buddhist ceremony in L.A. Takei told People:
“All I can remember is what the priest said. That this moment will never happen again. It’s something to savor.”
The former Star Trek actor and Altman shared their special moment with 200 friends.
When California’s Supreme Court made the decision to overturn the gay marriage ban, Takei announced his plans to get married. California voters will have the opportunity to vote No on Proposition 8 in the coming election which continues the right for everyone to get married, including gays and lesbians.

Unfortunately it’s not Jessica Biel and Hilary Duff getting married to themselves or their boyfriends, it’s just them being part of a wedding for Beverley Mitchell. The 7th Heaven actress reportedly asked Jessica Biel, Hilary Duff, and Haylie Duff to be bridesmaids when she gets hitched next month.
Beverley and Michael Cameron will walk down the aisle in Italy.
Apparently, expected guests include Justin Timberlake and his former boyband friends from ‘N Sync: Joey Fatone and Lance Bass. Since this seems like a mini-reunion, I wonder if they’ll dare sing a song for the bride & groom.

Ellen DeGeneres has married her longtime girlfriend Portia de Rossi in an intimate wedding ceremony on Saturday, August 16, 2008. The happy couple exchanged rings in the backyard of their Beverly Hills home as 19 guests watched on, including Ellen’s mom Betty and Portia’s mom Margaret Rogers. However, I’m guessing Senator John McCain wasn’t included in the mix.
Their rep said:
“Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.”
Shortly after the wedding, Ellen taped an interview for her TV talk show so that should be fun to watch.
Let’s hope more states will follow California and recognize their ban on gay weddings is unconstitutional so that more couples like Ellen and Portia can have the right to marry.

Jewel has reportedly married boyfriend Ty Murray in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas, according to Female First.
The country singer and former rodeo cowboy were said to have said their vows in a private service in front of friends and family on Thursday. Her rep confirmed to People.com:
“She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favourite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat. The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon.”
Although they never announced their engagement, they had dated for ten years so it was probably assumed that they’d get hitched. Secret weddings seem to be on the rise amongst the Hollywood celebs these days eh?
It looks like Mariah Carey will get the wedding she has been dreaming about. According to sources for the New York Post Page Six, Mariah rented Stone Meadow Farm in East Hampton for one week this month for $125,000. The 10-bedroom, 18,000 square foot property will be a place for new hubby Nick Cannon and the diva to “chill out”.
Sources claim that the celebrations will include Def Jame exec L.A. Reid as host and all the guests who bought the newlyweds presents from her Bergdorf Goodman registry who’ll finally have the pleasure of toasting to the lovebirds.
