Here’s an up close look at Angelina Jolie’s face on her latest movie Salt’s movie poster. In the movie she plays a CIA officer on the run after being accused of being a Russian sleeper spy. Tom Cruise was originally suppose to star in the movie, but passed on the film and the lead role was changed to a female. Angelina was recruited, which I think was a good move.

In the book Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, author Ian Halperin claims Angelina started “a mean-spirited but effective campaign” against Jennifer Aniston around the same time Brad was divorcing her.

The book allegdes Angelina along with her manager, Geyer Kosinski, and brother, James Haven, planted stories in the media saying Aniston prioritized her career over starting a family, which put a strain on her marriage with Brad because he desperately wanted kids.

The book also says Angelina “was convinced that this is the story that would resonate with all these women who saw her as a man-stealing bitch.”

I do remember those rumors being spread through out the media, but I don’t think it changed anyone’s opinion on Angelina being a man-stealing biotch. But you can’t put all the blame on her, Brad had his hands dirty as well.

In an interview with The New York Times Magazine Megan Fox says girls think she’s a slut.

“Girls think I’m a slut,” Megan tells this weekend’s edition. “I’ve been in the same relationship since I was 18.”

“If they think you’re attractive, you’re either stupid or a whore or a dumb whore,” she says of girls. “The instinct among girls is to attack the jugular.”

“If I had been a typical starlet and said all the right things, I wouldn’t have escalated to this level,” Fox says. “I sit down and do an interview and I talk like a person and that, for some reason, is shocking. All women in Hollywood are known as sex symbols. You’re sold, and it’s based on sex. That’s O.K., if you know how to use it.”

And once again here’s what she said about being compared to Angelina Jolie:

“She’s so serious and stoic,” Fox says of Jolie. “I’m the opposite. When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor. Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humor. I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.”

I wish everyone would stop comparing her to Angelina, she’ll never be in the same league. As for girls thinking she’s a slut, I think she’s wrong. But if she wants to think so lowly of herself so be it.

A member of the paparazzi is to blame for Brad Pitt’s motorcycle accident on Saturday. Allegedly the photographer cut Brad off with his Toyota Camry causing him to loose his balance and hit a vehicle in front of him. Brad ended up falling off his bike, but was uninjured.

Of course Brad was not too happy with the photographer, who he was seen having words with as he pulled his bike off the road. I’d be pissed to, the police should have been called. I think it’s kind of strange they weren’t.

Brad did called his assistant to come get him from a nearby building and left his bike at the scene of the accident. In a hurry to leave the scene and not calling the cops, sounds fishy to me.

Brad Pitt gave an update on his efforts to build 150 in New Orleans while at the annual Clinton Global Initiative. He said the electric bill for just one of these energy-efficient homes built by his Make It Right foundation runs around $35 and the cost of building them is dropping.

“I don’t know how we build any other way anywhere else,” he said. “We can no longer tell ourselves that implementing this technology is too complex a problem because it’s just been proven on this little spot on the map.”

I think it’s awesome how Brad has basically taken New Orleans under his wings and has put in a huge effort at giving people a new home. The annual Clinton meeting brings together the public and private sector to discuss solutions to problems in four areas climate change, poverty, global health and education.

Brad Pitt recently did an interview with Bill Maher saying he quit smoking pot so he could be alert while raising his kids. Well Quentin Tarantino is saying that is not entirely the truth.

In an interview with Howard Stern, Tarantino claimed Brad offered him drugs when the two met to discuss his Inglorious Basterds movie, pulling out a brick of hash. When Brad handed him an empty coke can to use as a pipe Tarantino said ” I know what to do with that.”

We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out. I want to believe Brad, it’s not good to be smoking weed around the kiddies.
