Joe Jackson Wants Kanye West Banned

Michael Jackson’s dad Joe Jackson wants rapper Kanye West banned from all entertainment events after his stunt at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 13, 2009 where he stormed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift’s acceptance of the Best Female Video award. Contact Music reports that the King of Pop’s father was shocked by Kanye West’s behavior, especially because they had been having a conversation just minutes before his outburst. Jackson told TMZ:

“I had just gotten through speaking to him, he was introducing me to his girlfriend (Amber Rose) and then three minutes later he jumped up on stage. And people booed Kanye all night.

I don’t know what he was doing, he jumped up on stage and snatched that microphone out of that poor girl’s hand.

They should blackball him out of showbusiness for that. He just leapt (sic) up there; that was bad.”

It’s hard to believe I think similarly to Joe Jackson, well, at least on this issue. What Kanye did was so nasty. Even if Taylor Swift didn’t really deserve to win the award, it wasn’t his place to do such an asinine thing. In this case, an apology isn’t enough for Taylor…poor girl had her moment taken away! Kanye needs to learn manners and self-restraint!

Kathy Griffin and Levi Johnston Date

Kathy Griffin brought Bristol Palin’s ex-fiance, Levi Johnston as her date to the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, according to Yahoo News. They even held hands when they walked down the red carpet!

When the 19-year-old was asked why he came as the 48-year-old comedian’s date, he told Access Hollywood:

“She’s beautiful and funny. She’s the star of the night.”

Griffin said:

“Miley, try to top this!”

Publicity certainly doesn’t hurt and plus, they both probably wanted to piss off Sarah Palin and family. Kathy, YOU GO GIRL!

Babblicious Picture

Actress Helena Bonham Carter was spotted leaving Toy Crazy with her son Billy Ray Burton in Malibu. I bet Billy Ray was pretty happy as they left carrying a large shopping bag and a coffee.

Don’t you just love the expression on their faces? How cute.

Miley Cyrus Gets Slammed For Fake Tears at Kids Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus has been slammed for having fake tears at the 2009 Kids Choice Awards. However, FemaleFirst reports Miley denies any faking occurred and insists she was “embarrassed about losing her cool at the ceremony.” Miley tells MTV News:

“I was a little embarrassed… (but) it meant something to me, because it’s from the kids and the kids are more important than anything else in the world. So it made me happy.

Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to win it. It just made my day that I did.”

Aw, how special…Miley was touched!
