Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri claims he is being held in “unspeakably unsanitary” conditions in jail. Female First reports that he requested to move from the Brooklyn jail because his health is suffering after being thrown in the slammer for wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering. Follieri “pleaded guilty to cheating investors out of millions of dollars by claiming he could buy discounted Roman Catholic Church property.” Follieri’s attorney sent a letter to a judge to request a move:

“He says that he cannot eat because the food appears to be spoiled and that the toilet and shower facilities are unspeakably unsanitary.

There is excrement in the shower and rats are roaming freely in the area. He says the stench is intolerable.

Clearly, no one should be subjected to these conditions. However, in Mr. Follieri’s case, the unsanitary environment appears to have had a detrimental effect on his health.”

Follieri’s attorney also claims that Follieri is ill with a running fever and blood in his urine.

Although he shouldn’t have expected to be checking into the Four Seasons when he was found guilty of his crimes, the conditions sound horrible. If it’s true, then he shouldn’t be moved - the judge should order that the conditions in the prison be made more sanitary for everyone there and order a doctor to look into his health and maybe give him some antibiotics for his infection.

Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has reportedly been sentenced to 54 months in prison after pleading guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering, according to Female First. Four and a half years doesn’t seem too long considering he plead guilty to 14 counts!

Apparently, the sentence was handed down after a plea deal in which Follieri agreed not to appeal any sentence less than 63 months in prison. Follieri also agreed to give up the $2.44 million he made illegally.

Follieri is actually really lucky he made the deal because he could have possibly received a sentence of 265 years without the deal. I think he got off way too easy!

Anne Hathaway is trying to move on with her life after dealing with so much controversy and scandal over her relationship with jailed ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. Anne dished to People about a new man:

“This guy I know in L.A. is kind of doing it for me right now. When I think of sexy, I think of him.”

You know when sometimes you don’t know someone very well – you’ll probably never see them again – but you just meet them and you’re like ‘WOW, you really have it going on’?”

However, she’s still insists she’s taking the dating thing slowly. She said:

“I’m totally single right now. But I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day.”

Good for her! I’m curious as to who this hottie is though. Hopefully she’ll get spotted out with him soon!

Talk about a statement, I don’t think there is a woman that wouldn’t join Johnny Depp in Wonderland. Anne previously got a lot of unwanted media attention when the FBI arrested her boyfriend. But things are starting to look up for Anne and I’m sure she thinks its about time.  Anne is rumored to be playing the “White Queen” in the upcoming Tim Burton’s, Alice in Wonderland.

After splitting up with Raffaello Follieri, who Anne Hathaway was rumored to have cooperated with the FBI to bust him, it seems she has moved on with her love life. The Hollywood actress was reportedly spotted getting cozy with actor Josh Lucas at Earls Restaurant in Denver. A source told Perez Hilton:

“They definitely looked like a couple. They were really into each other, giggling and smiling and even holding hands at one point. You could almost taste their chemistry! She looked beautiful and happy. Josh put his arm around her for a bit before they left.”

Good for them! He’s cute and available, so why not?
