Gabber Quote of the Day

“I don’t want to sleep on somebody else’s mattress, so even five-star hotels are horrid to me. I like sitting on my own toilet that no one else has sat on.”

~Former American Idol contestant Kelli Pickler dished to OK! magazine why she sleeps on the bus while on tour with Taylor Swift.

Ryan Seacrest Spent the Night with Lindsay Lohan

American Idol and radio show host Ryan Seacrest was spotted by the paps taking Linday Lohan back to her home in L.A. after being out partying with her. A photographer dished to X17:

“Lindsay was obviously trying to hide from the paps. Ryan didn’t seem to care. It was almost as if he was proud to be with Lindsay. Ryan was laughing while Lindsay ducked down behind the seat of the car when the left Hollywood.”

The odd couple continued to make lots of noise with music blasting from LiLo’s house that caused the neighbors to call the cops to complain. Apparently, the police went over to check out what was going on at 3:30am!

And half an hour later, the two took off and went to Seacrest’s house where LiLo was until the morning.

It sure sounds like a publicity stunt by both of them. Ryan probably wants the gay rumors to go away and in exchange, he’s going to try to help LiLo with her career. We all know she most likely slept on his couch!

Gabber Quote of the Day

“Those (lesbian rumors) are not helping me on the dating front! I prefer the boys. I’m extremely flattered when I do get hit on by girls and I think it’s hot but I’m not into it. I like boys.”

Adam Lambert Confirms He’s Gay in Rolling Stone

As mentioned before, American Idol Season 8 runner-up, Adam Lambert has confirmed what everyone was already speculating about his sexual orientation. He told Rolling Stone magazine:

“I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay. I’m proud of my sexuality. I embrace it. It’s just another part of me… I was worried that (coming out) would be so sensationalized that it would overshadow what I was there to do, which was sing.

I’m an entertainer, and who I am and what I do in my personal life is a separate thing. It shouldn’t matter. Except it does. It’s really confusing.”

He added that he’s focused on being a singer and hopes his sexual orientation doesn’t affect his music career:

“I’m trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader.”

I think it’s great that he has embraced his sexuality and isn’t afraid to talk about it. He’s a good role model for young teens who feel they have to hide who they are. And while Adam doesn’t want to be a civil rights leader, I hope that he’ll use his celebrity power (when he becomes one) to advocate for equal rights.

Kris Allen Sings National Anthem at NBA Finals

The new American Idol, Kris Allen sang the national anthem for the NBA finals. I wonder if Kris was more nervous about doing this gig than competing against Adam Lambert in the finals for American Idol. If I were him, I would’ve been!

If you missed it, like I did, you can check out the video below:

Simon Cowell’s Security Had to Restrain Desperate Female Fan

As Simon Cowell was getting ready to leave after the filming for Britain’s Got Talent on May 25, 2009, a crazy female fan tried to accost him, according to FemaleFirst. The nutty fan decided to dive in front of Cowell’s car too, but security pinned her down. A source told The London Paper:

“All the girls in the crowd got excited when Simon wound his car window down to wave at them, but one went too far and actually tried to stop him from leaving.

Security had to pull her away from his vehicle and hold her against the ground to let Simon out safely.”

The price of fame isn’t always pretty. Even Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour was attacked after the American Idol finale last week! Pretty scary!

Adam Lambert Responds to Clay Aiken’s Criticism

Adam Lambert doesn’t give a sh*t about what former American Idol wannabe Clay Aiken said about him, according to Usmagazine.com. When asked by Access Hollywood about what Clay said, he responded:

“I don’t know Clay. I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before.

If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him.”

Adam followed his comment by giving Clay a thumbs up.

Poor Clay - his comments didn’t move him whatsoever. I can understand why Clay would be envious of Adam’s talent though.
