Yoko Ono Praises Lady Gaga For Imagine Performance
Yoko Ono got choked up upon hearing Lady Gaga’s performance of John Lennon’s classic, “Imagine,” according to Now magazine. Lady Gaga performed at the Human Rights Campaign’s dinner, the night before National Equality March in Washington, D.C.
Yoko posted on Twitter:
“Hearing that made me choke up.
You are so beautiful! In Sisterhood and love, Yoko.”
I think it’s wonderful that Yoko reached out to Lady Gaga to thank her for performing John’s song. What a beautiful song for the movement for equality too. It’s time for everyone to have access to the same basic rights!
