2009 Celebrity Softball Game
Celebrities gathered for the annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge this past weekend, which also kicked off the CMA Music Fest. Among those on the winning team were Carrie Underwood, Chuck Wicks, Luke Bryan, Montgomery Gentry, Jake Owen and Jason Michael Carroll, and on the losing team, Darius Rucker, Keith Anderson, Joe Nichols, Julianne Hough and Randy Houser.
The City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge benefits cancer research, so it’s all fun and games for a good cause and not only does the annual game help kick off the CMA Music Fest, it’s also part of the festivities that surrounds MLB’s annual All Star Game, last night was the always exciting Home Run Derby.
