Taylor Swift Donates Her Prom Dress To Charity
Country superstar Taylor Swift has donated her Jessica McClintock prom gown to Hearst Magazines’ DonateMyDress.org, the first national network to bring together local dress drive organizations across the U.S., to help girls give and find the dress of their dreams.
Taylor was more than happy to part with her dress saying “I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress.”
Along with Taylor Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Nikki Blonsky, Eva Amurri, Ashley Greene and other stars all donated their dresses, which are all being auctioned off in DonateMyDress.org’s first celebrity auction.
Teens everywhere must be excited to know they could be wearing Taylor’s dress to prom.
