Miss California Carrie Prejean to Promote Opposite Sex Marriage
Miss California Carrie Prejean, who lost her chance to win the Miss USA competition when she answered a question regarding her feelings on same sex marriage, is going to star in a $1.5 million campaign funded by the National Organization for Marriage, according to CNN.
The conservative advocates have scheduled a press conference with Miss California to unveil the new ad, called “No Offense.” In a press release, the group states:
“She is attacked viciously for having the courage to speak up for her truth and her values. But Carrie’s courage inspired a whole nation and a whole generation of young people because she chose to risk the Miss USA crown rather than be silent about her deepest moral values.”
What a dumbass campaign and what a way to continue her 15 minutes of fame. How is she an inspiration to a whole nation when she doesn’t believe in equal rights for everyone?
