Rapper T.I. Sentenced to One Year
Rapper T.I., real name, Clifford Harris Jr. has been sentenced to one year and a day in prison for illegal weapons charges. T.I. appeared in court in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday to receive his sentence.
The dumbass was caught trying to buy an arsenal of guns from an undercover FBI agent. His attorneys made a plea deal with prosecutors last year to make him complete 1,500 hours of community service and pay a $100,000 fine as well as spend 366 days in the slammer.
It’s convenient that T.I. has already completed 1,000 of those hours already and only has 500 left to do when he gets out of jail.
He won’t be serving his sentence until May 19, 2009 due to prior commitments. How nice of the courts to work around his schedule!
Of course, he can have his sentence reduced to 10 months for “good behavior” too.
