Boy George’s Fans Send Him Money While In Jail
Boy George aka George O’Dowd has been touched by his fans because they’ve been sending him money while he’s serving time in the slammer. Contact Music reports:
During his incarceration in North London’s infamous Pentonville jail, George has received over 400 letters and cards from fans.
A source revealed to the Mirror:
“It’s unbelievable why so many people would want to spend their money on him. But he has been genuinely touched by people’s concern for him.”
That’s incredible that people are sending him money! I hope he’s writing them back thank you letters while he’s there - he has the time now.
