Prince Harry Apologizes For Racist Remark

Prince Harry had to apologize after he was caught on camera calling another Army soldier a “P*ki.” Three years ago when he was training an Army officer at Sandhurst military academy, he referred to the Pakistani trooper. The video clip was published by News of the World on Sunday, January 11 and shows the prince calling another cadet a “raghead,” a derogatory term for an Arab.
Apparently, Prince Harry helped make the video as he introduces his friends and refers to one as “our little P*aki friend” and then was filmed making a pretend call to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II as well as calling another cadet a “f**king raghead.”
Prince Harry has now apologized. The statement said:
“Prince Harry fully understands how offensive this term can be, and is extremely sorry for any offense his words might cause.
However, on this occasion three years ago, Prince Harry used the term without any malice and as a nickname about a highly popular member of his platoon.
There is no question that Prince Harry was in any way seeking to insult his friend.”
Yikes - this isn’t the first time the prince has been busted for doing something stupid. The news probably won’t make him too popular amongst Pakistanis and Arabs though.

Oh for gawd’s sake, this is the non-story of the year. I know Pakistani guys who use the term ‘Paki’. Only people who are members of the ‘civil rights industry’ and who are outraged for a living could take offence at this, give that 90% of the population in Britain do actually talk like this. But of course any use of non-PC language is the cardinal sin of this timid era.
And oh my, a soldier being a bit course? What ever next?
