Led Zeppelin Theme Park Files for Bankruptcy

The economic downturn has even affected the world’s first rock ‘n roll theme park. Female First reports that “after only nine months of being open” the theme park has filed for bankruptcy. Jim Olecki, the park’s rep says the theme park, costing $400 million to build in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina apparently didn’t have enough cash for any promotion.
Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones must be bummed since they participated in the planning, however, even they aren’t immune to the slumping economy. That sucks - guess people don’t have a lot of money to ride roller coasters these days! I really believe Olecki when he says they never had money to promote because this is the first time I’ve heard about the theme park.
