Whoopi Goldberg Protests Prop 8
Whoopi Goldberg participated in the Proposition 8 Protest outside the Mormon Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Columbus Avenue supported Proposition 8 to eliminate the court-approved right of gay and lesbian couples to marry in California. Apparently, most of the money for the anti-marriage campaign came from members of the Mormon Church to pass the discriminatory initiative.
Whoopi, You Go Girl! Eventually, people will come to realize how hateful the legislation was and how everyone should be accorded equal rights.

Homosexuality is an abomination. Pls. rd. Leviticus 20 & Roman 1:17-32. Whoopi is just a person. The one who is important is God. He created us and gave us a book, the Bible to live by.
Whoopi - I’d like to point out that because of prop 8 specifying marriage is between a man & woman - that a man & a woman now needs to be legally defined. Just for a moment - leave out the subject of gay - prop 8 specifies a man & a woman. Now they HAVE to have a legal definition of a man & woman. Exactly what body part is needed to qualify as a man or a woman for the purpose of marriage under this new law? With all the people on this earth - I’m sure there are some who could challenge any proposed legal defintion of a man or woman.
Whoopi protested outside a sacred Mormon Temple in NY because some Mormons in California supported a ballot initiative? Did she protest outside a Mosque after 9/11? What about a black chruch since they supported the measure 70%? No? I didn’t think so! HYPOCRITE
