Simon Cowell’s Mom Wants Him to Get Back with Terri Seymour
American Idol judge Simon Cowell and his longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour reportedly split in September 2008 after dating more than six years, but Simon’s mother is not pleased. Mama Cowell is urging the couple to give their relationship another try.
Terri allegedly dumped Simon after he refused to get married and settle down. His mum said:
“Everyone in our family loves her. She’s like part of the family and always will be. At the end of the day, Simon doesn’t want a family and I think that’s got a lot to do with it. She’s a lovely girl… I’m hoping they’ll get back together.”
Simon’s rep Max Clifford confirmed the couple’s split, but insists they have parted amicably. He revealed:
“Terri ended it in late summer. They are going to remain close friends. He understands her reason for ending it. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon’s side.”
So it looks like the earlier reports were true. Good for Terri! Move on with your life and find someone who’s able to give you what you really want.
