Meredith Vieira Embarrasses Matt Lauer About Marriage
Meredith Vieira put her foot in her mouth on this morning’s Today show when the subject of when to get married came up. She talked about how old she was when she got married and then asked her co-host Matt when he got married. Oops!
The subject of Matt’s own marriage(s) has been an uncomfortable subject for him because of his history. Matt is divorced from his first wife and his second wife filed for divorce once, but withdrew her filing. Ouch.
Matt seemed to handle his discomfort pretty well. I don’t blame Merideth for forgetting that it’s a sore subject for him because I forgot all about his marriage problems too.
