Jaden Smith is the new Ralph Macchio
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s son Jaden Smith is set to star in the remake of the movie The Karate Kid. According to Contact Music, 10-year-old Jaden landed the role after already practicing martial arts.
Little Jaden made his film debut with his dad in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, but also has a role in an upcoming movie The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Now that we know that Jaden is the new Ralph Macchio, I wonder who’ll they’ll get to replace Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi. I think Morita as Mr. Miyagi is irreplaceable but it’ll be interesting who they use as his teacher.
