Dr. Erica Hahn is Getting the Boot from Grey’s Anatomy?
Say it ain’t so! It looks like Brooke Smith aka Dr. Erica Hahn is being given her walking papers this Thursday! According to The Auselio Files from Entertainment Weekly, Shonda Rhimes’ confirmed that Grey’s Anatomy’s first significant gay couple will no longer be together as Hahn’s role is given the heave-ho. Apparently, this wasn’t Rhime’s decision as this was firing was ordered by the network.
An insider dished that the execs “had issues” with the explicit nature of Callie’s relationship. What prudes!
This sucks - their relationship seemed like an authentic one, awkward at first as Callie aka Dr. Torres on the show, real name, Sara Ramirez, has been unsure of her feelings for Hahn, but Hahn is excited to realize she’s gay. Needless to say, I’m disappointed in the network. They suck!
