Arnold Schwarzenegger Urges Supreme Court to Overturn Prop 8
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is urging the California State Supreme Court to overturn the discriminatory initiative Prop 8 which seeks to ban same-sex marriage. According to the National Enquirer, Schwarzenegger told CNN:
“It’s unfortunate, obviously, but it’s not the end.
I think that we will again maybe undo that, if the court is willing to do that and then move forward from there and again lead in that area.”
Schwarzenegger spoke about equal rights supporters:
“They should never give up. They should be on it and on it — until they get it done.”
