William Shatner believes his former Star Trek co-star George Takei is “sad” and “sick” for making it a point of not inviting him to his wedding, according to Starpulse. Takei who recently married his long-time partner Brad Altman apparently invited Leonard Nimoy aka Spock, but not the great Captain Kirk. Shatner posted the video above on his website and said:

“The whole thing makes me feel badly. The poor man, there’s such a sickness there. It’s so patently obvious that there’s a psychosis there. I don’t know what his original thing about me was; I have no idea. I didn’t read his book that was printed many years ago but apparently I didn’t let somebody have a close -up.”

Shatner went on to claim:

“He and I don’t have many years left on this world.”

and goes on explaining he doesn’t understand the reason for such bitterness. Well, maybe Captain Kirk was a jerk to him on the set and hurt his feelings or maybe he wasn’t invited only because they’re not good friends and just wanted close friends and family present to share his joy.

UPDATE: Inside Edition reports that George Takei says he actually invited William Shatner. Uh, poor William Shatner looks like a dumbass now.
