No Hollywood Walk of Fame Star for Led Zeppelin
Jimmy Page has told a fan through his publicist not to bother with trying to get Led Zeppelin a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Starpulse reports that Rocky Dickerson had requested written approval from the rockers and their management so he could proceed with a nomination to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, however, Jimmy Page said no. Jimmy’s rep said:
“He (Page) has asked me to thank you for this interest but he does not feel that this is something that he can endorse.”
Aw, too bad. They certainly deserve a star more so than many of the people who actually have stars since they’re legendary rockers, but if they don’t want one, it’s understandable. They’ll be forever known even without having a star on a sidewalk in Hollywood.
