Kenny Rogers Regrets Resorting to Plastic Surgery to Try to Stay Young

Kenny Rogers admits that he regrets his decision to have plastic surgery in order to try to stay young because he says it took the “warmth” out of his eyes. How about that it basically caused him to not look like himself? Below is a photo of what Kenny used to look like in 1985.

The country legend said he felt pressured to look young after getting hitched to Wanda Miller in 1997. When Kenny was 58, he proposed to her at age 30 so I suppose that age difference made him feel rather insecure. He told the National Enquirer:
“I’m the plastic surgery king. I’m a bionic man! Every part of my body has been scooped or something at one time.
I kind of wish I hadn’t done it. Looking back at some pictures of myself, my eyes were a lot warmer than they are now, and I miss that. They have settled in a lot and they’re not as bad as they were right after surgery.”
Kenny explained:
“I didn’t want to be an old man with this young girl. I didn’t want to look like an old man. As you go through life, you make choices. Some are good, some are bad.”
I agree, it was bad decision. He had a nice look before the surgery. When I saw pictures of him in recent years, I didn’t even recognize him and that’s sad!

I seriously didn’t recognize the man in that first picture — it’s been awhile since I’ve seen him - that is just…sad. For some reason he never seemed to me the type who would “convert” himself like this. Hell, he looks Asian. Not that that’s a bad thing…well it kinda is if you weren’t Asian before the surgery.
