Guillaume Depardieu Died From Pneumonia at 37
French actor Gerard Depardieu’s son Guillaume has reportedly died at Garches hospital in Paris from pneumonia, according to Female First. Guillaume was only 37 years old.
Apparently, Guillaume suddenly became ill while he was working on a new film L’Enfance d’Icare in Romania. He was said to have received medical attention on the weekend, but died on Monday. A rep for Gerard said:
“He caught a virus which gave him a very severe pneumonia.”
How sad! It’s incredible that someone so young could come down with such a severe pneumonia that would kill him. It just goes to show that when people come down with viruses, they’re not to be taken lightly. Our thoughts go out to his family during such a sad time.
