Former Secretary of State Colin Powell announced his endorsement of Barack Obama for President on Meet the Press! This is what I had been hoping for - thank you Secretary Powell!
Perhaps now, Powell can work towards redeeming himself for the lies he told while working for George W. Bush about Iraq’s weapons of mass distruction. I knew deep down inside Powell was a decent person but he was just used badly by the Bush administration. Wouldn’t it be great if he joined the Obama administration?
This announcement must sting for John McCain.
