Selena Gomez Talks About Staying Pure
Selena Gomez, the teen Disney star of “Wizards of Waverly Place” who’s allegedly dating Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers plans to stay a virgin until marriage, according to Star magazine. She said:
“I’m going to keep my promise to myself, my family and God.”
Selena doesn’t want to repeat her mom Mandy’s history as she was pregnant with Selena at age 15.
An insider explained:
“Selena’s very level-headed, and she’s taken her mom’s life lessons into account. I don’t think Mandy has anything to worry about.”
It’s understandable that she doesn’t want to be a teen mom like her mother, but pledging to stay a virgin in public puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on herself. Why not just keep quiet about it?
