People Want to Smell Like David Beckham
David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham have reportedly made a ton of money from their fragrance line “Intimately Beckham,” according to Contact Music. It’s unbelievable, but they’ve made $202 million already! Posh, who finally has something to brag about (after her denim line ended up embarrassingly in the bargain basements) said:
“And we’ve just had some great news from our fragrance business - it’s now worth GBP109 million at retail, and we haven’t even scratched the surface in America with that yet - that’s not including my jeans or sunglasses range. I feel proud of myself because I’ve worked for it and, let’s face it, I don’t have to.”
It’s hard to believe that people buy these celebrity perfumes and colognes, but I guess all of the publicity the former Spice Girl and Becks get, the more money they make.
