Oasis Attacked On Stage at Virgin Festival in Toronto Video
Last night, September 7, 2008, Oasis rockers were performing at the Virgin Festival in Toronto when a guy came from backstage to attack Noel Gallagher. Check out the video clip above of them performing “Morning Glory,” and at approximately 1:30, the crazy man comes from behind and shoves Noel pretty hard.
After security jumped in, Liam Gallagher started throwing some punches. Oasis stopped performing momentarily, but returned to finish out the rest of their set. I’m sure fans really enjoyed that interruption.
Isn’t it shocking that there are some people out there who don’t like Oasis? After all, they’re such “nice guys!”
UPDATE: Oasis have canceled their gig on Tuesday in London, Ontario in Canada after Noel Gallagher was attacked from a crazy man at the Virgin Festival on Sunday, according to Contact Music. The poor guy was hospitalized after the attack because he suffered “bruising to his ribs and hip” when he was shoved from behind.
