Miley Cyrus and Disney Give Gays the Boot
Disney, known as being “the happiest place on earth” has reportedly snubbed the gay community for their usually planned Gay Days which brings thousands to the amusement park. TMZ reports that Disney is throwing Miley Cyrus, their darling Hannah Montana star a 16th birthday party on the weekend that is usually planned for Gay Days.
Nevermind the fact that Miley’s birthday isn’t until November, Disney wants to celebrate early!
That sucks - they should have been able to share the park. How many people would Miley and her entourage be anyway? Miley should’ve insisted that her birthday party be planned on another day if she and Disney wanted the whole place to themselves.
UPDATE: Per the site: Gay Days Anaheim,
Miley Cyrus is having her birthday at Disneyland on Sunday, October 5 and Disneyland will be closing at 5pm that day. That’s our scheduled day at Disney’s California Adventure so we don’t forsee any changes to Gay Days Anaheim.

As has been pointed out before, the day Miley is having her party is the day gays plan to meet at California Adventure, a different park across the street.
Disney has been rather gay friendly for some time now, despite being in a historically conservative/reactionary county.
