Heidi Montag Should’ve Been John McCain’s Running Mate
As mentioned in April, MTV’s The Hills star Heidi Montag declared her support for Senator John McCain’s run for president. Now she jokes that she’s “really hurt” she wasn’t chosen as McCain’s running mate, according to People magazine. She told Extra:
“I can’t believe it. Blondes have more fun. I guess he doesn’t know that.”
Obviously, he doesn’t know a whole lot of other things which is evident when he picked Sarah Palin.
McCain’s running mate, Alaska’s Governor Palin who dubbed herself as a regular hockey mom is under intense media scrutiny now. Us Weekly spoke to a former political opponent of Palin’s who was ridiculed by her and a shock-jock DJ on January 15. Lyda Green, a cancer survivor and Alaska state senator said Palin laughed when the DJ called her a “cancer,” a “bitch” and made fun of her weight. Green said that after people demanded she apologize. She said:
“You know what she said? She said, ‘I’m calling to apologize. I hope you didn’t misunderstand the radio program.’”
Green said:
“I told her, ‘I didn’t misunderstand.’”
Very nice. It sounds like McCain might as well have asked Heidi Montag to be his running mate right about now.
